Castlemeadow Care Castlemeadow Care is a family-owned care business supporting over 300 people in care homes in Norfolk and Suffolk.

We offer short-term and full time residential and nursing care, as well as supporting people living with dementia. Castlemeadow Care was established in 1999 as a family-owned care provider. Since we were founded, our philosophy has always been to provide the best care possible, and 'creating special moments' for our residents, helping them to live fulfilling lives. We offer a number of specialist care services and support through our care homes and assisted living developments. We currently have six unique care homes under our Castlemeadow Care brand. These are:
- Highfield House, Halesworth - where we provided residential and dementia care;
- Lincoln House, Swanton Morley, near Dereham - where we provide residential and nursing care;
- The Mayfields, Long Stratton, - where we provide residential and dementia care;
- The Paddocks, Swaffham - where we provide residential and dementia care;
- St John's House, Norwich - where we provide residential and dementia care;
- Wyndham House, North Wootton, near King's Lynn - where we provide residential and dementia care. We also have an assisted living development at Woodgate Park, Swanton Morley, where nearly 40 people live independently in their own bungalows, with our support.

Today at The Paddocks they celebrated their wonderful Housekeeping Team with a small appreciation gift to thank them for all their hard work. Their dedication helps keep our home looking its best and creates a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who visits or lives here.

🐰💛 Highfield House had the best cuddles with Coco, Chanel, Stella, and all of their lovely fluffy bunny friends!

There were plenty of smiles as residents enjoyed spending time with these gentle, affectionate visitors. Animal visits always bring so much joy, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a cuddle and getting to know each bunny's unique personality. 🥰🐇

A huge thank you to Wycombe Pastures for another fantastic visit. We always love welcoming you, and your furry friends never fail to brighten our day!

Back in June, The Paddocks welcomed Valentine and Ben to thier home, they are leading a Community Festival which will bring together local schools, community groups, organisations, and residents to create artwork and creative pieces that will be digitally projected onto historic buildings throughout the town in February 2027! 😀

Ben also showed one residents how this looks digitally on his mobile phone, this is called “Project Mapping”, it was very interesting and an eye opener to technology in Society today. 🧑‍💻

As they are the only care home participating in Swaffham, we are proud to ensure that the voices, creativity, and experiences of older people are represented within this high-profile community event. 💗.

Residents have and will continue to work alongside others to celebrate local heritage, promote inclusion, and strengthen intergenerational relationships, culminating in a public light display showcasing their contributions. We thank you for this opportunity to be part of something special for their town. 🤗

On Sunday The Paddocks took their residents into town for the Norfolk Royal British Legion- Rededication of County Standard.

What a lovely service 🩷, feeling part of something, listening to readings from the bible, singing hymes and saying the Lords Prayer as a congregation 🤗.

Afterwards strolling to the Assembly Rooms to listen the Norwich Pipe Band 🎵, which we recorded to bring back and show some residents who you know have a love for all things pipes 😀

🥗🍓 Highfield House have been celebrating Nutrition Week, and what a wonderful week it's been! 🍍💚
We've enjoyed getting hands-on with making delicious smoothies, healthy snacks, and even treating ourselves to a refreshing piña colada! 🍹🍓🍌

A special thank you to Katie, who joined us for a fantastic and informative talk about healthy eating, weight loss, and the many benefits of maintaining a balanced diet. Katie also helped us learn more about how health conditions such as diabetes and kidney disease can affect nutrition and the importance of making healthy choices. 💚

The session sparked some wonderful conversations, with residents sharing experiences of family members who have lived with various health conditions and how these affected their eating and drinking habits. It was a great opportunity to learn from one another, ask questions, and reflect on the importance of nutrition throughout our lives.
We also enjoyed a lively Q&A session, where everyone had the chance to share their thoughts and learn something new.

And there's even more good news... 🍉🥭🍍 Residents told us how much they enjoyed having a variety of fresh fruits available, and we're delighted that fruit salad, including exotic fruits, has now become a regular staple on our daily menu! It's proving to be a popular addition and a delicious way to support healthy eating.

Myley assist care homes to take their residents on memorable days out 🤗 "We go beyond transportation, by crafting a seamless experience and delivering caring adventures, one journey at a time"
We enjoyed coffee ☕ , cakes 🍰, singing 🎤 and plenty of giggles together 🤭!!

Such a memorable afternoon visiting the farm and saw so many different animals 🫏🕊️.🦙

What a remarkable trip and thank you so much for the families and our driver who joined in and supported our residents 💖.

☀️🎣 We were having far too much fun last week at Highfield House and completely forgot to share it with you all!

With the temperatures a little cooler, but the sunshine still shining, we made the most of the lovely weather and enjoyed plenty of time outdoors. 🌞💛
Residents had great fun fishing in the garden, and there were lots of wonderful conversations about old fairground rides, childhood memories, and days gone by. 🎡✨

On Friday, we enjoyed a delicious fish and chip lunch outside, making the most of the beautiful surroundings and good company. 🐟🍟

We were also visited by a magician, who entertained everyone with amazing tricks, lots of laughter, and some fantastic balloon creations. 🎩🎈✨

To top off a busy week, we enjoyed our regular community walk to the Patrick Stead Community Centre, where we joined others for the lovely singing group. 🎶💙

From fishing and fish & chips to magic and music, it was another wonderful week together!
