πŸŽ‰ Celebrating John’s 1 Year Clean ,

John picked up his 1-year keyring, a fantastic milestone that reflects the hard work, commitment, and dedication he has shown throughout his recovery journey.

John completed his programme at New Hope Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire and has continued to thrive within our supported living service. He actively works the steps, has a sponsor, and remains fully committed to his recovery. His gratitude for the support he has received shines through in everything he does, often sharing how thankful he is for the opportunities and guidance provided along the way.

Giving back is a huge part of John's recovery. He regularly carries out service at his NA meetings, travelling by bus from Beeston to Loughborough to support others on their own journeys. Within the house, he is always there for his fellow residents, offering encouragement, support, and understanding whenever it is needed.

One of John's greatest joys is being able to regularly spend time with his two young children, rebuilding and strengthening those precious family relationships that recovery has made possible. ❀️

John is a grateful, kind-hearted, and beautiful soul who continues to inspire those around him. We are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved and look forward to seeing what the future holds for him.

Congratulations, John! One year clean is an amazing achievement. Keep doing what you're doing. πŸ’™πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

🌟 Celebrating 3 Years Clean – A Story of Recovery, Purpose & Community 🌟

A huge congratulations to Rob, who has recently celebrated an incredible milestone of 3 years in recovery! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘

Over the last two and a half years, Rob has been living within New Hope Rehabilitation's Supported Living project in Derby, where he has worked tirelessly to rebuild his life, establish structure, and become an active member of his local community. πŸ’™

Today, Rob volunteers at Hope Food Bank on Curzon Street, Derby, facilitates a connection group at Derby City Church where he supports people who may be struggling to connect within their community, and also gives his time every Sunday at Kids Zone, caring for a disabled child so their parents can attend church and enjoy some valuable respite. πŸ™β€οΈ

Rob is now a group facilitator within our Supported Living service and continues to inspire others through his commitment to recovery, service, and personal growth. His journey is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with determination, support, and a willingness to embrace change.

Rob shared that he could not have achieved any of this without the support and help he received from New Hope Rehabilitation. We are incredibly proud of everything he has accomplished and look forward to seeing what the future holds. 🌈πŸ’ͺ

πŸ’™ Giving Back to the Community πŸ’™

The lads from Carlton House, our secondary housing provision in Lincolnshire, recently spent some time supporting the wonderful New Life Centre in Spilsby, helping to give something back to a community hub that offers so much to local people.

The New Life Centre is a welcoming space that supports individuals and families from all walks of life, providing vital services, activities, and a sense of community. It is also a place that many of the men we support at New Hope Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire have benefited from during their recovery journey.

Recovery is about more than abstinence; it is about reconnecting with the community, building purpose, and learning the value of giving back. The lads worked together to support the centre, showing gratitude for the support available within the local area and demonstrating the positive impact that recovery can have on both individuals and the wider community.

We are incredibly proud of the men at Carlton House for their willingness to help others and for continuing to grow in confidence, responsibility, and community spirit. πŸ‘πŸ’™

❀️ Empowering Women, Building Confidence, Changing Lives ❀️

Every day at New Hope Women's Services, we see incredible courage, determination, and growth from the women we support. Through patience, encouragement, and tailored one-to-one support, our team helps women develop the confidence and life skills needed to move forward positively. 🌟

One of the ladies we support recently worked alongside her support worker to prepare and cook a delicious prawn tikka curry with rice. Cooking can feel overwhelming when confidence is low, so starting with simple, nutritious meals is a fantastic way to build skills and independence. The best part? There was even enough left over for dinner later that evening! πŸ›πŸ‘©β€πŸ³

Another inspiring achievement comes from a lady who joined us experiencing severe acrophobia, rarely leaving the house and feeling unable to travel. Through weekly walks with her support worker, gradually pushing her comfort zone a little further each time, she has made remarkable progress. This week she achieved something she never thought possible β€” she got into a car, completed a full session, and even enjoyed a drive around the block. What an incredible milestone! πŸš—β€οΈ

We're also celebrating the progress of another service user who arrived with little experience of budgeting, shopping, or cooking. With ongoing support, she now plans her own shopping lists, manages her spending, completes weekly food shops, and confidently prepares healthy meals independently. Watching her develop these essential life skills has been truly inspiring. πŸ›’πŸ’·πŸ½οΈ

These achievements may seem small to some, but they represent huge personal victories. We are incredibly proud of every woman who takes steps towards greater independence, confidence, and wellbeing. πŸ’•βœ¨

πŸŽ“ Huge congratulations to Pete on graduating from New Hope Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire! πŸ™Œ

Pete recently celebrated an incredible milestone of 6 months clean, something he once thought may never be possible. Through commitment, honesty, and determination, he has continued to push forward in his recovery journey and is now thriving within our aftercare programme, with a view to moving on into independent housing in the near future πŸ‘πŸ’™

Pete shared a powerful message of hope for anybody currently struggling:

β€œNo matter how lost you feel or how many times you’ve fallen, recovery is possible. Six months ago, I couldn’t imagine my life looking like this. Today I’ve got hope, stability, and people around me who genuinely care. Don’t give up on yourself.”

At New Hope, we are incredibly proud to watch residents grow in confidence, rebuild relationships, and begin creating positive futures for themselves 🌟

Aaron’s testimony is one that truly shows the reality of how difficult life can become when someone feels disconnected, displaced, and misunderstood from such a young age.

Throughout his younger years, Aaron struggled deeply with fitting into normal society and often found himself battling emotions he didn’t fully understand. With frequent hospital visits related to a health condition and difficulties accepting support, life eventually became overwhelming, leading him down the path of substance misuse as a way to mask the pain he carried inside.

Today, Aaron speaks openly and honestly about those struggles with incredible courage, self-awareness, and truth. Since arriving at New Hope Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire, he has embraced recovery and continues to show huge growth, determination, and positivity towards his future.

⚽️ Great to see the lads from Raithby Hall and our secondary housing at Carlton House getting down to training and enjoying a game of football at Spilsby Pavilion & Playing Fields in the heart of Spilsby πŸ™Œ

Activities like this are such an important part of recovery and aftercare. Football brings the boys together, builds confidence, improves physical and mental wellbeing, and gives everyone the chance to support one another as a team both on and off the pitch πŸ’™βš½οΈ

At New Hope Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire, we believe recovery is about rebuilding lives, creating healthy routines, and making positive memories along the way. Days like this remind the lads how far they’ve come and what can be achieved through unity, structure, and support πŸ‘

β˜€οΈ Spontaneous days like these are what aftercare recovery is all about! 🌊

The lads from Carlton House, our secondary housing and aftercare support service at New Hope Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire, took a trip over to Scarborough for a much-needed day out together. Starting the day with a walk along the stunning Cleveland Way cliff paths, the boys covered over 7 miles, taking in the fresh sea air, amazing views, and the peace that comes from being present in the moment. πŸ™Œ

Along the route they discovered the hidden gem of Clayton Bay, a secluded beach tucked away beneath the cliffs β€” the perfect spot to stop, reflect, and appreciate how far they’ve all come in recovery. πŸ’™

After the long walk, the day was rounded off properly with some well-earned fish and chips back in Scarborough! 🍟🐟

Recovery doesn’t stop after treatment. Building healthy routines, friendships, freedom, and positive experiences is a huge part of long-term recovery, and days like this remind the lads just how much life there is to enjoy in sobriety. πŸ‘
