A huge thank you to all the families who joined us today. We hope you've had a fantastic day.

Days like today are exactly why we do what we do, giving children and young people with SEND, and their families, the chance to enjoy fun experiences together and make lasting memories.

June Round Up 🌞

We can’t believe we’re already halfway through the year! It’s been fantastic to see so many familiar faces continuing to join us, while also welcoming lots of new children and young people to our sessions. We’ve loved watching friendships grow, confidence build, and everyone get involved in new experiences along the way.

During June, we’ve been getting creative, developing social and emotional skills, and enjoying a wide range of fun and engaging activities.

With the warmer weather arriving ☀️, our sessions have been full of summer fun (and plenty of ice pops to help us cool down!).

Our Multisport sessions have focused on teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship, with the children and young people particularly enjoying taking part in bowling competitions. These activities have helped to develop coordination and motor skills while also encouraging patience, resilience, and confidence.

Our Arts & Crafts sessions have provided lots of opportunities for creativity, with everyone adding their own personal touches to projects and celebrating their individuality.

It’s been wonderful to see everyone trying new things, supporting each other, and having fun together.

May was filled with fun, sunshine, and plenty of happy memories.

Our STEM Club attendees put their imagination to use while exploring shadows. The children and young people discovered how different shadows are formed and even put on their own shadow puppet show. They also made their own butter and learned how cream transforms into butter through lots and lots of shaking!!

Our Multi Sports participants stayed active and engaged with a variety of exciting games, while our Arts & Crafts group enjoyed experimenting with different materials and techniques to create a range of fantastic projects

We were also proud to host a Celebration and Showcases evening, where some of our children and young people joined us with their families. It was a really special moment as they bravely stood up to receive certificates of achievement in confidence, creativity, kindness, or teamwork.

As the temperatures were high during the holidays, we made sure to stay cool with delicious ice creams and refreshing lollies , the perfect way to enjoy the sunny weather!

We are recruiting for a full-time position, although we would also consider splitting the role into two part-time posts, one focused on delivery and the other on administration.

SEND SUMMER FAMILY TRIPS 2026 ARE HERE!

We're delighted to launch our Summer SEND Family Trips for children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities living in Oldham and their families.

Whether it's spotting amazing animals at Chester Zoo or exploring treehouses at BeWILDerwood, we hope these accessible and inclusive days out will give families the opportunity to spend quality time together, create special memories and enjoy new experiences over the summer holidays.
