SEND SUMMER FAMILY TRIPS 2026 ARE HERE!

We're delighted to launch our Summer SEND Family Trips for children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities living in Oldham and their families.

Whether it's spotting amazing animals at Chester Zoo or exploring treehouses at BeWILDerwood, we hope these accessible and inclusive days out will give families the opportunity to spend quality time together, create special memories and enjoy new experiences over the summer holidays.

Sunday 26 July
£20 per person (includes return coach travel and entry)

Enjoy a day exploring one of the UK's most loved zoos, home to thousands of incredible animals and habitats.

🌟 APRIL HIGHLIGHTS 🌟

April was packed with fun, learning and new experiences.

We were excited to welcome lots of new children and young people this month, while also seeing familiar faces return and friendships continue to grow across our sessions. Through the use of social stories, turn-taking visuals and other supportive approaches, we helped make learning about friendships, sharing and kindness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

During the Easter holidays, we made the most of the warmer weather by taking some activities outdoors, while our Arts & Crafts sessions got creative with a range of Easter-themed crafts and activities.

Our STEM Club explored the senses this month, discovering different smells, textures, sounds and tastes, and sharing what they liked and disliked in a fun and engaging way.

Across our Multi Sports sessions, there was a big focus on teamwork and resilience, helping children and young people build confidence, support one another and most importantly have fun whilst moving!

Our Summer Term 2 and Summer Holiday programmes are now live and ready to book.

SUMMER TERM 2 – 1 June to 18 July
Our 7 week programme includes Multisports, Junior Twilight, SEND Club and S.T.E.M sessions.

SUMMER HOLIDAY – 21 July to 31 August
Six weeks of activities with our Holiday clubs and Multisports sessions.

All sessions have limited spaces, so we recommend booking early to secure a place.

March has been full of discovery, creativity, and plenty of fun! 🌟

In our STEM Club, the children have been busy exploring science through hands-on experiments — including testing the viscosity of different liquids and creating their very own marble rollercoaster courses! It’s been fantastic to see their curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork in action. 🧪🎢

Over in SEND Club, we’ve welcomed the new season with beautiful spring-inspired crafts, making blooming flowers and colourful creations to celebrate the brighter days ahead. 🌸🌼

Our Multi Sport sessions have kept everyone active and engaged, with inclusive activities designed to build confidence, develop skills, and ensure every child can take part and enjoy moving their bodies. 🏃‍♂️⚽

As always, it’s been wonderful to see so many families join us throughout the month — thank you for being part of it! 💜
