Another oldie but goodie, faqi with Master Zhou Gan Sheng.

The person in the video is a friend of mine, a very, very sceptical friend who did not believe any of this was real.

He was staying in my room and watched me like a hawk while I got dressed, checking whether I had any kind of device hidden on me.

Once he was satisfied that I had nothing, he expected to feel absolutely nothing. He genuinely did not believe faqi was real.

His reaction makes for a rather funny video.

Little device showing how open the channels are from practicing qigong and neigong.

How do you think you would compare?

Do you do dantian and qi development? Let me know in the comments.

Faqi into 14 people in a row, showing the different reactions from each person.

This video is from 2019 with Master Zhou Gan Sheng. We had a big group there, and I had a ton of qi, so I wanted to see how much I could do. Still assisted here I believe.

I would imagine there are not too many people teaching who can show a video like this. Fourteen people in a row, using both arms. I cut each clip short to keep the overall video from becoming too long.

Each person feels a strong electric current. You can see my arm tense, and in some cases, theirs tense too.

I am not squeezing their hands, as some people claimed in the comments on earlier videos.

The Three Treasures: Jing, Qi and Shen, explained in under 5 minutes.

Ask what the three treasures are and you'll get the same three words everywhere. Jing is essence, qi is energy, shen is spirit. Accurate, and almost useless on their own.

This one goes under the translations. Jing, qi and shen aren't three separate things your body contains. They're one substance at three densities, and the whole of internal work is managing how it moves between them. Get the bottom of that ladder solid and the rest of the path becomes possible.

This is the beginning of a series that will explain the terms and answer the questions that beginner and intermediate practitioners are most likely to have. So, if you enjoy this style of video and want to learn more, please subscribe.

Master Jiang Feng performing faqi, using sword fingers to produce a laser-like effect.

Qi is concentrated into the fingers to create an effect with several possible uses. Here, despite how it looks, it is being used as a form of treatment.

This is one of his most debated abilities, with sceptics claiming that someone else in the room was secretly using a laser.

The burn left a clear circular mark. This means a hidden helper would have had to hold the laser extremely steady for long enough to create that circle, without any of the ten to fifteen people in the room noticing. They would also have needed to know the exact position in which the person would stand so that the laser was instantly lined up. The beam itself would have needed to be invisible to avoid giving the trick away.

I know people like shouting “laser” and “fake,” but when you actually think through what would have been required, it would have been almost impossible to achieve.

This is difficult to explain away once you accept that these were ordinary people visiting him in a room full of observers, rather than participants in a carefully planned magic trick.

What do you think? Genuine faqi, or was someone secretly holding a laser?

Master Jiang Feng demonstrating the powerful qi field around his hand during faqi, with unexpected consequences.

His hand felt as though it had a very strong magnetic field around it, a dense static vibration unlike anything else I had experienced. It is difficult to describe. The closest comparison I can think of is the strange field generated around a powerful antenna.

That field was not supposed to jump across to my body, but because of the qi I had already developed, it did. It created a spark about an inch long. You can hear it clearly in the video, although sadly the camera did not capture it. You can clearly see me jump back, though, as I was not expecting it.

Master Jiang was not expecting it either, as you can see from his grin when it happened. It did not happen with the next student, whose dantian was not as developed at the time.

Master Jiang Feng using faqi to levitate small pieces of paper.

Many comments on the previous video claimed there must have been something hidden under the table. This video, also filmed in 2014, shows him demonstrating that he could do it anywhere, even while I was holding the paper.

He also performed the demonstration in his underwear at one point. Quite a few people were there to witness it.

If you do not believe it, that is fine. I do not really mind either way. I am simply sharing an interesting video.

This shows what faqi does to the dantian when there is already some qi present with Master Jiang Feng and Master Wu.

It is hard to see clearly from this angle, but if you watch my stomach closely, you can see a small, golf ball-sized “thing” bouncing around inside my abdomen.

It is easy to look at something like this from the outside and say it is fake or that nothing real is happening. But when you are standing there and a literal physical ball is moving around inside you, you pay attention.

At the end, he says that I have some qi. This was six months into my training in 2016, shortly after I moved to China to pursue both neigong and Chinese medicine.

The rest of the video is just ensuring the channels are open.

This is the moment the dantian wakes up for the first time.

It's rare to catch me doing this without needles, but here the qi is being guided by hand.

It's pushed into the upper dantian with the left hand, flows down the ren channel, and reconnects to the dantian below.

The right hand is pushing qi straight into the lower dantian and creating a pull that brings the qi down the front.

Watch the end. That shaking, that pulsing, is the dantian coming back to life, re-establishing itself after years dormant.

This was a solo trip, just me and my students in Spain last year.

What is qi, and why does every meditation, qigong and neigong practice talk about it?

In under five minutes I explain what qi actually is, the energy your body runs on day to day, and how the deeper work slowly refines it into something greater.

This is a series that will explain the terms and answer the questions that beginner and intermediate practitioners are most likely to have. So, if you enjoy this style of video and want to learn more, please subscribe.
