🎶 Step Back in Time at Preston Glades! 🎶

Join us on Tuesday 25th August from 2pm for a fantastic 1950s Afternoon.

We'll be celebrating the decade of rock 'n' roll, poodle skirts and classic tunes, with residents and team members dressing up in true 1950s style.

We'd love to welcome family members and friends to come along and enjoy the fun with us. E

They made beautiful butterfly coasters bursting with colour. Between the painting and the wind chimes taking shape, there was lots of lovely chatter. These little treasures are now on display, each one telling its own story.

The parachute made another appearance at Preston Glades! 🎉

Residents held hands and moved together to some great music, taking it in turns to keep the parachute up and moving. Regular activities like these play an important part in keeping residents active and connected with each other.

What a wonderful afternoon we had when Little Hoofs Therapy Ponies visited us today! 🐴

Winny and Princess wandered through our garden, meeting residents and their families. The ponies even made their way to bedrooms for those that wished to spend some time with these gentle animals.

An afternoon with laughter, smiles and precious memories we'll treasure. 💕

Watching the barge boats drift by while we tucked into lunch at Owd Nell's.🌞

What a way to spend a day by the canal. The food was delicious and the company even better. Afterwards we took a gentle walk on the water's edge, soaking in the sunshine with friends.
