Beloved husband to Sandra (deceased), loving dad to Stuart and Julie, father-in-law to Stephen, devoted grandad to Samantha, Luke, Amber, Hannah and Benson. Also a wonderful friend to all.

George worked at BAE Systems on Strand Road as a Cutter Grinder in the Tool Room.

George requested bright colours to be worn at his funeral.

Josette Marie-Louise Black (Nee Sylvain)
Beloved and devout wife of the late Bernard Vincent Black, founder of ‘Black’s World Travel’, respected and well known throughout the Preston community.
Proud mother of son Maurice and daughter-in-law Michelle. Sister to Robert, Andre and Henri. Godmother to Josette.
She will be fondly remembered for her endless charitable deeds for The Blind Association, The Xaverians and the parishes of St Gregory The Great and Blessed Sacrament.
The words ‘Love’ ‘Kindness’ and ‘Charity’ defined her.
May she Rest In Peace in the Love of God

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith on 21st May 2026 aged 82 who died peacefully in the company of his family.

Much loved husband of the late Sylvia. Loved and forever missed by his daughters Pamela and Diane, father in law to Marsh and Andy, grandchildren Lucy (Gary) and Sophie, Uncle to Tracey and a friend to many.

Keith's battle with cancer started in 2007 and as a thank you to Rosemere he once did the Blackpool Walk the Lights with family and friends. We thought it only fitting that any donations people may wish to give will be dedicated to the Rosemere charity. The family will also donate separately to St Catherine's Hospice where Keith recently stayed and whom helped Keith and the family within the community. Their help and support was invaluable.
Please wear any colour for Keith's celebration of his life. Family flowers only.

Now at peace and reunited with Sylvia xx

The loving husband to Lynn and a special dad to Emma, John, Samantha, Lewis and Adele.

Flowers welcome or donations towards making Johns final journey one he would be proud of, can be made via the donation box laid out at the crematorium.

The family request that people attending the funeral wear an item of baby blue in honour of Johns favourite football team.
