🧡 THIS WEDNESDAY AT ARCHWAY RECOVERY

Guest Speaker Alan

From a life of crime and heavy drinking to faith and purpose, Alan will be sharing his personal experience of how a life-changing encounter with Jesus transformed his life.

Over forty years ago, Alan’s life looked very different. Today, he serves as a pastor at Festival Church, Towyn.

His experience is a powerful reminder that no matter where we’ve been or what we’ve done, hope is never lost. No one is beyond hope, and change is possible.

If you’re struggling, supporting a loved one, searching for hope, or simply looking for a safe place to connect, we’d love to welcome you.

💔 This story broke our hearts.

Behind every addiction is a person. A son. A daughter. A mum. A dad. A family desperately wanting things to be different.

At Archway Recovery, we understand that addiction is about far more than a lack of willpower. Many of us have lived through the mental obsession that keeps people trapped, even when they desperately want to stop.

Stories like this remind us why understanding, compassion, connection and hope matter so much.

We know there is growing awareness of the dangers of ketamine and other addictions, but we also know that many people and families still feel frightened, isolated and unsure where to turn for help.

That is why Archway Recovery exists.

We are a community of people with lived experience who want others to know that recovery is possible. Whether you are struggling yourself, or you are affected by somebody else’s addiction, support is available.

There is no judgement here—only understanding, support and hope.

Please reach out.

💜🧡 Together, we can recover.

✨💛 Introducing Archway HALO 💛✨

HALO stands for Hope And Loved Ones – a supportive community for family, friends and loved ones affected by addiction.

At Archway Recovery, we’ve learned that addiction doesn’t just affect the person struggling. It affects the people who love them too.

Over the past two years, many family members, partners, parents, children and friends have reached out to us looking for support, understanding and hope while supporting someone they care about.

That’s why we’ve created Archway HALO – a dedicated WhatsApp community where loved ones can find connection, encouragement, understanding and support from others who truly understand.

✨ Connection with others who understand

💛 Encouragement through difficult times

✨ A better understanding of addiction and recovery

💛 Support for loved ones

💛 If you’d like to know more or join the group, send us a message through Facebook Messenger. We’d love to welcome you.

💛 When addiction affects one life, it touches many others.

✨ Together, we can recover.

“May the Lord direct your hearts to God’s love and Christ’s endurance.”

🔓 Have you ever felt trapped by addiction, knowing you needed to change but unable to find a way out?

Tonight at Archway Recovery, our co-founder Conor will be leading an interactive recovery session:

“Powerlessness – The Prison We Couldn’t Escape”

Addiction can feel like a prison. Dark, lonely and impossible to escape. Tonight we’ll explore why so many of us couldn’t break free on our own and the freedom that becomes possible through recovery.

Expect honest conversation, shared experience and plenty of opportunity to join in.

Conor will be armed with a whiteboard, a pen and a few recovery truths… what could possibly go wrong? 😄

Recovery was never meant to be done alone. Come and be part of a community where you’ll be understood, listened to and encouraged by people who genuinely get it.

📍 Salvation Army, Windsor Street, Rhyl
⏰ 5pm – 7pm

No judgement.
No pressure to speak.
Just real people, real recovery and real hope.

Come for the discussion. Stay for the connection. Leave with hope.

Two years ago, Archway Recovery began with a vision.

Today, every Wednesday evening, that vision becomes a room full of evidence.

Evidence that freedom is possible.
Evidence that families can heal.
Evidence that hope can return.
Evidence that people can recover.

“Come and see what God has done, His wondrous works for the children of Adam.”
Psalm 66:5 (CSB)

We are a Christ-centred recovery community built by people with lived experience of addiction. Every member of our team has walked their own journey of recovery and now freely gives their time to help others.

Everything we offer is free. Everything we do is rooted in faith, compassion, service and lived experience.

To share the hope, healing and restoration found in Jesus Christ with individuals and families affected by addiction.

Over the past two years, we have seen lives transformed, relationships restored, confidence rebuilt, families reunited, and people discover a freedom they once believed was out of reach.

Whether you are struggling yourself, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for hope, you’ll find people who understand.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS MITCH! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating some fantastic news as Mitch passed his driving test! 🚗✅

Just over a year ago, Mitch came through the doors of Archway Recovery looking for a different way of life. Today, he is living proof that recovery works.

A loving family man, a reliable employee, a valued member of our recovery community, and now a fully qualified driver.🙏

For many people, passing a driving test is an exciting achievement. In recovery, it often represents so much more confidence rebuilt, opportunities opened, goals achieved, and a future that once felt out of reach becoming reality.

“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.”
Galatians 6:9 (CSB)

Mitch’s journey reminds us that recovery isn’t just about overcoming addiction. It’s about rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and discovering a whole new way of life.

We’re incredibly proud of you Mitch. Thank you for showing others that change is possible and that recovery can take us further than we ever imagined.

Enjoy the freedom of the open road, Mitch — you’ve worked hard for it! 🚗🎉

❤️ Together, we can recover.❤️

🧡✨ THANK YOU ✨💜

What a beautiful evening celebrating 2 years of Archway Recovery.

Last night was such a powerful reminder of what God can do. Over the past two years we’ve seen lives restored, hope renewed, families supported and people finding freedom from addiction through connection, recovery, faith and the love of Jesus.

Thank you to every single person who came along, helped, encouraged others, served behind the scenes or simply sat in the room with us. Every conversation, prayer and act of kindness has helped make Archway Recovery what it is today.

A huge thank you as well to Steph Macleod for sharing such honest testimony, worship and encouragement with us all.

We are so grateful for this recovery community and for every person who has been part of the journey so far. Above everything, we give God all the glory for continuing to guide, carry and strengthen Archway Recovery every step of the way. 🧡
