I set up Bring 2gether cic,Trauma & PTSD Support Group,
because I wanted people living with trauma and PTSD to have somewhere they could come and feel less alone. When you’ve been through something life‑changing, it’s easy to feel isolated, misunderstood, or like no one around you truly “gets it”. This group was created to change that.

Our weekly sessions offer a safe, calm space where you can talk with others who are going through similar experiences. There’s no pressure, no judgement — just understanding, support, and connection.

Bring 2gether CIC is a community‑interest group, run from lived experience and compassion. I created it so no one has to face trauma on their own, and so people have a place where they can talk, breathe, and feel supported by others walking a similar path.

AI can offer quick information and a moment of support, but it can’t replace the depth of being truly seen and understood by another person. In therapy, it’s the human connection that helps you feel safe enough to open up, explore your story, and make sense of what’s happening inside you.
Face‑to‑face work allows for nuance — tone, pauses, body language, the gentle shifts that happen when someone is really with you. AI can be helpful, but it can’t sit with you in your pain, notice what you’re not saying, or walk alongside you as you heal.

​When Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) hits during the luteal phase, it can feel like someone walked into your mind and flipped a chaotic emotional switch.

Stress isn’t just “being busy” or “not coping well.” It’s your mind and body trying to protect you — sometimes a little too hard.

I’m sharing two techniques you can use right now to help calm anxiety.

1) Grounding: Name five things you can see, four you can touch, three you can hear, two you can smell, one you can taste. Move at your own pace — I adapt this for neurodivergent clients by offering options (quiet focus, using objects, or doing it aloud).

2) Controlled breathing: Breathe in for 4, hold 1, out for 6. Repeat slowly. If counting feels hard, try breathing with a hand on your belly or a slow gaze shift instead.

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is real, valid, and far more common than people realise.

FND happens when the brain struggles to send and receive signals properly — causing symptoms like weakness, tremors, seizures (PNES), pain, fatigue, dissociation, and sensory overwhelm. These symptoms are not imagined and they are not your fault.

Many people with FND also live with trauma, chronic stress, or neurodivergence, which can make the nervous system feel constantly overloaded.
