⚠️ Botulism Health Warning ⚠️

United Kingdom’s Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have issued a warning following more cases diagnosed in Leeds.

“Botulism is very serious” says Cheryl Barton, our Lead Nurse here at Aesthetika Clinic,

“Symptoms can include difficulty swallowing and slurred speech, but also more worrying is the difficulty with breathing that can happen which may require mechanical ventilation.
Some of the cases last year were in ICU for many weeks”

Cheryl says “there are many providers out there to choose from, however standards really vary considerably and without doubt some people out there should not be injecting you with anything”

Our advice here in Clinic echoes the UKHSA’s and that is:
