Margot Thompson-Moore
Our Hawarden branch have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements following the passing of
Margot Thomson-Moore who has sadly passed peacefully, aged 87 years.
Loving Mum and Nana.
Margot will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Flintshire Crematorium on Wednesday 2nd September at 2.00pm.
No black please at the service.

Brian Hughes
Our Shotton branch have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements following the passing of Brian Owen Hughes on Monday 13th July 2026 aged 73 years. A much Loved Husband to Sharon, Beloved Dad to Raymond, Rachael, Samantha, Brian & Sally, Cherished Taid to Jack, Saffron, Dylan, Declan, Alys, Seren & Jude and a wonderful Great Taid to Efa & Lili.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 11th Aug 2026, 10:00 am at Flintshire Crematorium. This will be followed by Celebration of his life at The Navy Club Connahs Quay

Donations in Memory of Brian are in aid of DASU (Domestic Abuse Safety Unit North Wales )

Margaret Shone
Our Shotton branch have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements following the passing of the Late Margaret Shone on Saturday 11th July 2026 aged 87 Years.
A much loved Mum, Nanna & Sister and Wife to the Late Joseph Henry Shone.
Margaret will be sadly missed by all her friends and family.
The service will take place at St Marks Parish Church, Connah’s Quay on Monday 27th July at 1.00pm followed by committal at Hawarden No2 Cemetery. Donations in memory of Margaret will be greatly received for MacMillan Cancer Support.

John Guignard
Our Hawarden branch have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements for the late John Guignard, who has sadly passed away on Friday 3rd July, aged 87 years. John will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The service will take place at Mancot Presbyterian Church on Thursday 23rd July at 2.00pm followed by interment at Hawarden No2 Cemetery.

Brenda Mansell
Our Shotton branch have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements of Brenda Jean Mansell following her peaceful passing on Monday 6th July 2026 at Phoenix House Care Home. A much loved mum, nana, great-nana, sister, auntie and friend.
Brenda will be sadly missed, although it is comforting to know that she will now be reunited with her loved ones.
The funeral service for Brenda will be held on Tuesday 21st July at St. Deiniols Church at 3pm, followed by Committal at Flintshire Crematorium at 4pm. Refreshments will be provided from 3.45pm onwards at Gladstone Library.
All are welcome.
