Here’s the thing about summer pigmentation.

Your sunscreen stops it getting worse, but it won’t even out what’s already there.

That’s the job of a good vitamin C.

This is my second summer recommendation, and it’s the one I reach for when pigmentation starts creeping back.

Intradermology Sonic HA Bright is a stabilised vitamin C at 20%. Stabilised matters, because ordinary vitamin C oxidises over time and loses its strength but this one holds its strength.

It’s designed to brighten and even skin tone, and the hyaluronic acid in it keeps your skin hydrated while it works.

Does sunscreen cause cancer? No. It doesn’t.

There’s a myth doing the rounds on TikTok, so with July being UV Protection Month, it felt like the right time to put it to bed.

The benzene scare came from a very small number of aerosol sunscreens years ago — and those products were removed. None of the sunscreens I stock or recommend contain benzene, and there’s no clinical or medical evidence linking sunscreen to cancer.

What the evidence does show: your cancer risk is far higher if you don’t wear it.

So slap that protection on.

And if you’re unsure which SPF actually suits your skin, that’s a conversation I’m happy to have.

I’m not for you if you want me to take the money you saved for 1 syringe of filler even though I know you won’t get the results you want.
I’m not for you if you’re not bothered about safety or who does your treatment. It’s too important to me. I’m not for you if you don’t have time for a consultation and are just after a quick fix. I’m thorough for many reasons and take my time with treatments to ensure the best and safest results.
I’m not for you just want the cheapest price. That means inexperience, corner cutting and cheap products which is not my brand.
