✨ Slow, gentle body tracing can be incredibly relaxing.

Sometimes it's not about deep pressure, it's about slowing down, switching off, and giving your body permission to unwind. These light, flowing movements can help create a sense of calm and comfort while encouraging relaxation from head to toe.

Take a moment for yourself and enjoy the experience. 🌿

A soothing facial massage is more than just a treatment, it's an opportunity to slow down, release tension, and enjoy a moment of calm.

Gentle massage techniques can help relax the muscles of the face, jaw, scalp and neck, leaving you feeling refreshed, recharged and deeply relaxed.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply take time for yourself.

The truth is, the booking is simply our starting point.

If you've booked a back massage but your shoulders are particularly tight, or your neck has been bothering you more than usual, we can adapt the treatment within the time you've booked.

My aim isn't to follow a rigid routine. It's to listen, tailor the treatment to your needs, and help you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

The truth is that different massages have different goals. Sometimes deeper pressure is appropriate, and sometimes a gentler approach is exactly what's needed.

The most effective massage isn't necessarily the deepest or the most painful. It's the one that's right for the individual and their needs.

Have you ever had a massage that felt too deep, or not deep enough? Let me know in the comments. 👇

Just a quick update to let everyone know that Hands That Massage will be closed from 7 June to 17 June 2026.

My last appointments before I close will be on Friday 5 June, and I will be reopening on Thursday 18 June 2026.

If you've been thinking about booking a treatment, it may be worth getting in touch soon as availability before I close may become limited.

Thank you for your continued support. It is always appreciated, and I look forward to welcoming you back when I reopen.

Sometimes the body doesn’t realise how much tension it’s carrying until it finally feels supported.

In this position, the bolster cushion supports the upper shoulders, allowing the head to gently drop backwards into a more relaxed position. This can help reduce strain through the neck muscles, encourage gentle cervical decompression, and allow the upper body to properly switch off.

Small positioning changes can make a big difference to comfort, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.
