Living Well Partnership

Living Well Partnership We are a team of NHS GPs and clinicians dedicated to helping you live well throughout your life. Our page is run by a lead GP and lead Nurse.

Our partnership offers more than a traditional GP practice, with access to a larger team working together to provide well-informed and accessible care. We will never use clinical time for Facebook and will mostly post in our own time, during evenings and weekends. As such we may limit who can comment on posts as we may not be available to respond. You can always visit our website for contact information and opening times.

Camping is a great way to spend quality time as a family and make lasting memories. To make sure your camping trip is remembered for all the right reasons:

• Enjoy your BBQs safely by keeping grills and BBQ equipment well away from tents and other enclosed spaces.
• Take a carbon monoxide alarm with you. The highly poisonous gas can kill quickly and without warning, as you cannot see it, taste it, or smell it.
• and remember BBQs and firepits can stay hot enough to burn a child for a long time after use.
• Be alert to any water nearby. Children can drown quickly and quietly.

If you’ve been freezing your hot water bottle to get you through the hot weather, you need to read this.

The rubber in hot water bottles can degrade if you freeze them, making it unsafe to use with hot water later.

If you freeze a hot water bottle this summer, please don’t use it again in the colder months.

The burns from a damaged hot water bottle can cause life-changing injuries. It’s not worth the risk.

If you're eligible, you can now get your free MenB vaccine.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England. Eligible under-25s can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.

⚠️Our Emergency Departments are incredibly busy. This means that waiting times are likely to be long as we prioritise patients according to clinical need.⚠️

We need your help to ensure we can treat those who need us most. Only attend if extremely unwell or injured.

If you can, please consider using other services, such as NHS 111, your GP, or local pharmacies.

Thank you 🙏
