Last Friday, Meadowyrthe celebrated International Families Day with residents and their loved ones. The day before the event, some residents helped prepare delicious fruit skewers, which were later enjoyed at the celebration with a drizzle of chocolate. The party was filled with singing, dancing, and plenty of smiles all around.

At Meadowyrthe, celebrating loved ones, friendships, and the sense of community shared between residents and their families is incredibly important, making occasions like these truly special. ❤️

Where has the sunshine gone?! 😔☀️🌧️

Before the rain arrived, the residents at Meadowyrthe rolled up their sleeves and created their very own gardening club. Thanks to generous donations from Asda of flower bulbs and compost, they’ve been hard at work giving the garden some much-needed TLC.

So far, they’ve planted wildflowers, sunflowers, bulbs, and plenty of colourful bedding plants to brighten up the space. They’ve also filled hanging baskets, tidied the lawns and pathways, and their next project is to give the benches a fresh coat of paint.

A huge well done to Meadowyrthe’s gardening club — the garden is looking fantastic, and your hard work is truly blooming! 🌸🌻
