Passed away peacefully on 30th August 2026 aged 86 years.

Devoted wife to the late Edward Wilson, loving mum to Sheila and Angela, a dear mother-in-law to Philip and John and a cherished grandmother. Yvonne will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

A funeral service will take place at St Michael's Church, Stramshall on Wednesday 30th September 2026 at 11am.

Family flowers only please but your kind donations in memory of Yvonne will be divided between Midlands Air Ambulance and St Michael's Church, Stramshall.

Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 26th August 2026, aged 50 years.

A loving son to Alan and Joyce, a proud dad to Chloe, a devoted partner to Rhian and a dear brother to Helen and Steven. Paul will be deeply missed by all of his family and many friends.

A funeral service will take place at Lichfield and District Crematorium's Chapel on Thursday 24th September 2026 at 12.30pm, followed by a private, family only burial. Family flowers only please but your kind donations in memory of Paul will be divided between Cancer Research UK, Mountain Rescue and Aquabox, thank you.

Michael Steven Jones 🌹

Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 12th August 2026, aged 60 years.

Michael loved life and brought warmth wherever he went, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife Clare, together with his family, countless friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him — all of whom will hold him forever in their hearts.

Michael’s farewell service will take place on Friday 4th September 2026 at 2pm at The Old Chapel, Etruria (ST1 5PE).

Family flowers only please.
Kind donations in memory of Michael will be divided between SADS UK, the North Staffs and South Cheshire Bottle Collectors’ Club and Elsecar Heritage Centre.

There is no set dress code, please come in whatever you feel most comfortable wearing, just as Michael would have wanted.

The Hull funeral director who has been sentenced to 20 years in prison does not represent the funeral industry we are proud to be affiliated with.

You may not know this, but Joe Bloggs could rent yesterday’s v**e shop, call it a funeral home, and operate it as such, with no rules or regulations.

It’s important to know, when you’re looking for a funeral director, that they choose to be independently inspected and follow a recognised Code of Practice. If they don’t, why don’t they?
