From 1 June 2026, our practice will be supporting Patient-Led Ordering for repeat prescriptions. This means patients will be encouraged to request their own repeat medications, preferably using the NHS App.

Patients can also continue to order prescriptions directly through the practice by using the prescription boxes available downstairs or within the practice.

Please note that pharmacies may no longer routinely provide the right-hand side of the prescription slip. Written information showing the medication name, dose and quantity may still be used where available when requesting your prescription.

Ordering your own medication helps improve safety, reduce waste, and gives you greater control over your prescriptions.

If you need support using the NHS App or ordering your medication, please contact the practice team.
