We know that the recent fires in the local area have affected a number of our patients and families, and we are thinking of everyone impacted.

If you have been affected and feel that we may be able to support you, please get in touch with the practice in the normal way. This might include concerns about your physical health, medication or prescriptions, or the emotional impact of what has happened.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need our help. We will do our best to support you and, where appropriate, help you access other local services.

Update 08:57: Our medical request form link on our website is now back up and running. Thank you for your patience while our supplier resolved the issue.

If you called us this morning while the forms were unavailable, please rest assured that we will be returning your call as soon as possible.

We are currently experiencing issues with our medical request forms. Our team is working closely with our service provider to resolve this as quickly as possible, and we will keep you updated.

If you have an urgent request, please call us and we will ensure we return your call as soon as our systems are back up and running. If your request is not urgent, we kindly ask that you allow us a few hours to resolve the issue before contacting us.

We are currently experiencing issues with our Electronic Health Record (EMIS). This is a national issue and the suppliers of the software are working on a solution. This means that we are currently unable to access patient's records. You can still send through your medical requests via our online form, however, it may take us longer to get back to you.
If you have a face to face appointment today, please still attend the the surgery. If you have a telephone call we will call you, but please give us a little more time.
We will keep you updated.

We know how important it is for online forms to be quick and easy to use, and many of you told us you wanted something simpler.

We’re happy to share that we’ve made a change and have moved away from using Anima for online consultations. Our new system is more straightforward, and we hope it makes getting in touch with us even easier.

❄️ Due to current weather conditions, we ask patients to consider only travelling when they feel it is safe to do so, in line with the latest guidance.

(or your usual local travel updates). If you use public transport, you may need to check local updates in case normal service is disrupted- you may need to allow more time for your journey.

If you feel it is unsafe to attend your appointment today, please cancel using patient access/NHS app where possible or alternatively call the surgery, or rebook by contacting the surgery. Please note phone lines may be busy - thankyou for your patience.

If there is any disruption to appointments due to staffing, we will communicate this to patients as soon as possible.

Please take extra care when travelling and on site. We have arranged additional gritting on site, however some areas may still be snowy or slippery, so allow extra time and take care.

When visiting the surgery, please use our designated footpaths – this is particularly important if you are visiting us for an evening appointment or at times of extreme weather. Please take extra care on the car park.
