WANTED JAM JARS
It's that time of year again when the Downsview Jam production goes into action.
Blackberries started to be collected. Hopefully the Plums are ripening nicely.
If anyone has any Empty Jam Jars please can you bring them in and give/leave for Helen our Administrator.
There will be an empty box to place them in the Reception area where you sign in also.

Roger our local reverend visited, then we made our own summer sunglasses and then sn afternoon of golf.

We made our own ice cream today.
A choice of chocolate chunk or raspberry ripple 😋
Eating it certainly proved more popular than making it 🤣

Creative minds .....
Today we made floating foam fish for any children coming to our annual summer fete on August 8th. They will be in our paddling pools. The residents loved this idea and so the creativity began..
I was told there would be whales amd minnos 😄

All the leaves are brown....... definitely no grey skies though!
Lovely walks and talks in the gardens today and watering some very thirsty plants
