Dear patients,
We have become aware of patients being contacted centrally by Primary Care Support England (PCSE) asking them to confirm their address and advising they may be removed from their GP practice list.
This action has not been taken by the practice. We are concerned that our patients may be deregistered from the practice meaning they will not have a GP practice and would then have to re-register if they become unwell.
We urge patients to please respond to PCSE with their address to avoid the unsafe interruption of their GP registration and their care.
Thank you

You can hear local GP Dr Jeremy Welch talking to BBC Gloucestershire about prostate cancer as part of the 'Wake Up Call' focus on health and wellbeing. Dr Welch of Mythe Medical Practice talked to presenter Jon Smith about the valuable work he and colleagues have been doing to raise awareness about what is now the UK's most commonly diagnosed cancer. Some of the areas discussed included testing, screening, risk factors and urinary symptoms.

⚠️ Anyone can become unwell when the weather is hot, but some are at higher risk than others.

👍 Look out for older people, people with long-term health conditions and young
children who may find it more difficult to stay cool and hydrated in hot weather

📞 Check in on older friends, family and neighbours, particularly those who live alone,
who may struggle to keep themselves cool and hydrated during the hot weather
