Funny how your career develops over time.
When I first started coaching 17 years ago, I worked with all sorts of people, different ages, backgrounds and goals.
Over the years, I’ve found myself working with more and more women over 35, and it’s become an area of coaching I genuinely love.
I think a lot of it comes down to my personality and how I approach things.
I’m not particularly loud, I’ve never been one for shouting at people in the gym, and I like to think I’m pretty understanding.
But I’m also big on accountability and getting results.
The women I work with often have so much going on outside of fitness. Careers, families, relationships, stress and everything else life throws at them.
And I really enjoy helping them find a way to prioritise themselves without feeling like they need to sacrifice everything else.
Seeing someone lose weight is great.
But seeing them get stronger, grow in confidence and start feeling good about themselves again is even better.
And after 17 years, that’s still what makes coaching so rewarding.
If you’re a woman over 35 looking to make some lasting changes, without the extremes, drop me a message with the word READY.
I’d love to hear from you.
