⭐️ Job Opportunities at Affinity Homecare 🫶

We are looking to recruit senior community care workers and community care workers for Wilmslow and immediate areas.

You must have...

A big smile. Did you know a smile is contagious? A smile can change anyone's mood.😁

A good pair of eyes. You may need to help find something that has been lost or misplaced. You may need to buy the right newspaper or baked beans! 🤓

Good hearing. The people we look after have lived amazing lives so listen to their stories. 👂

Each day and person we look after is different so we need you to be able to think on your feet, adapt, be patient and kind. You will have a sense of achievement when you sit down after work and know you made that cup of tea just right! 🫖

We and our service users need you to excel in timekeeping. People like routine, make arrangements around their care and we must not impose on people's plans!! ⌚️

Did you know we train you! Don't be worried if you didn't get all A*s. If you have the want and need to help others to be safe, cared for and comfortable then what is stopping you? 😍😍

☀️ Another very warm day today, so a gentle reminder to everyone — especially our amazing carers — to look after yourselves too 💙

Please remember to:
💧 Keep drinking plenty of water
🧴 Stay cool where possible
☀️ Take care in the heat while travelling between calls

While our team are out supporting and caring for loved ones across the community, it’s just as important that they stay safe and well too.

To families and clients, please also remember to keep an eye on room temperatures, encourage regular drinks, and avoid too much time in direct sun where possible ☺️

The majority of our team are women — compassionate, hardworking, resilient individuals who show up every day to care for others in their homes and communities. The work they do isn’t always easy, but it is always important.

We’re proud to work alongside so many strong women who support not only our clients, but each other as well.
