A.V. Band Funeral Directors A.V. Band & Holland are a joint collaboration of Dignity branches, proud and privileged to serve the community in Worcester, Droitwich and Malvern.

We are funeral director comprised of four branches spanning across the Worcester and Malvern area. Previously a family run business, A.V. Band and Holland are now a part of the Dignity group who are comprised of hundreds of branches spanning the UK.

Some of the funeral traditions we still follow today began hundreds — even thousands — of years ago.

From funeral processions and wearing black, to flowers placed in tribute, these customs were created to honour loved ones, show respect, and bring comfort to grieving families.

While times may change, the meaning behind these traditions remains the same: remembering a life, supporting one another, and saying goodbye with dignity.

We are incredibly proud to see A V Band Funeral Directors acknowledged in such a heartfelt message following the farewell of Robert Alan Staight.

It is an honour to support families during some of life's most difficult moments, and we are deeply grateful to Meg and the Staight family for their kind words. Recognition like this reflects the dedication, compassion, and professionalism that our team strives to provide every day.

A special congratulations to Nikki, Chantelle, and Martin, whose care and commitment helped ensure that Robert received the dignified and meaningful farewell he deserved. We are also pleased to see the wonderful support shown for St Richard’s Hospice, with an impressive £1,790 raised in Robert’s memory.

At A V Band Funeral Directors, we believe every life should be celebrated with dignity, respect, and personal care. We are honoured to have played a part in Robert’s final journey and thank the family for placing their trust in us.
