Week 1
✅ Monday: 9:00pm – 7:45am
✅ Wednesday: 9:00pm – 7:45am
✅ Friday: 9:00pm – 8:00am

No shifts

✅ Saturday: 9:00pm – 8:00am
✅ Sunday: 9:00pm – 7:45am

(All other days off)

Week 2
✅ Tuesday: 9:00pm – 7:45am

(All other days off)

💷 Pay Rates

Weekday Nights
• Basic: £13.25 per hour
• NVQ Qualified: £13.45 per hour

Weekend Nights
• Basic: £13.95 per hour
• NVQ/Diploma Qualified: £14.15 per hour

➕ In-Charge Supplement: £1.00 per hour

Additional Hours Available

Looking for extra work? We have almost 5,000 hours of annual holiday cover available, giving plenty of opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

📅 Rotas are published at least 3 months in advance, helping you plan your work and personal commitments, while still allowing opportunities for last-minute extra shifts.

Albion Lodge is a friendly, family-run residential care home. We are situated in the beautiful village of Hanley Swan in Worcestershire. Currently we are looking for Care Assistants to cover the following hours, and any Care Assistants whom may be interested in bank. Unfortunately, we don't offer sponsorship for this role, and it is too many hours as a second job for those on sponsorship. The rota is as follows, based on a rolling two-week rota :

ROTA A

WEEK 1

Mon- 7.30-2pm

Tues- 7.30-2pm

Wed- OFF

Thursday -OFF

Friday -OFF

Sat- 2pm-9pm

Sun- 7.30-2pm

WEEK 2

Mon- 2-9pm

Tues-OFF

Wed- 7.30-2pm

Thursday -OFF

Friday -2-9

Sat- OFF

Sun- OFF

We offer full training, as well as continued professional development, and we welcome people new to care as well as those with more experience. Unfortunately, we cannot accept those people who require sponsorship.
Our pay scale for Care Assistants, depending on experience, is as follows
WEEKDAY RATE per hour
Basic £ TBC
NVQ/Dip £ TBC
WEEKEND DAY RATE per hour
Basic £TBC
NVQ/Dip £TBC

If you are looking for more hours, we have almost 5,000 hours of holiday to cover a year so there is plenty to pick up.

We have rotas available at least three months ahead so that you can plan any additional hours in advance, as well as picking up more last-minute shifts.

Summary

As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate support to individuals in care homes and through home care services. In essence, we like to provide care that we would like our own family members to receive, where nothing is too much trouble. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role will involve assisting with daily living activities. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of care is essential as we can provide training to help you achieve an NVQ qualification.

Due to a retirement and an internal promotion, we currently have an opportunity to join our supportive and well-led day team as a Carer on a permanent rolling two-week rota. We would also be happy to hear from anyone interested in joining our bank team.
