🔍 Can you spot it?

This is a Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), the most common type of skin cancer. While BCCs are usually slow-growing and rarely spread to other parts of the body, they should never be ignored.

The challenge? They can look incredibly subtle. A BCC may appear as a small pearly bump, a patch of dry skin that won't heal, a persistent sore, or even a tiny pink mark that doesn't seem concerning. It's these subtle changes that can easily be mistaken for harmless skin conditions, making an expert assessment essential.

At Freyja Medical, our Dermatologists are experienced in diagnosing skin lesions, including those that may not be obvious to the untrained eye. If a BCC is diagnosed, we offer expert treatment, including surgical removal, tailored to your individual needs.
