Riverside Care Complex Riverside Care Complex is a Family managed care home providing bespoke care within 8 acres of countryside on the outskirts of historic York.

This care home provides residential care for the elderly in Derwent House and also has a modern, purpose built Dementia community that has been specifically designed to provide high-quality residential care in Riverview Lodge for those living with dementia. Our team of specialist and dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of our residents and offer person centred care. They are committed to

providing dignified and individually tailored care with the resident at the heart of everything we do. The home features 63 en-suite bedrooms all furnished to a very high standard. Accommodation is offered in bright, spacious single rooms. All rooms have TV connectivity and call system. Communal areas comprise lounges and dining areas, a reception area and a conservatory. Varied menus are served and specialist diets can be catered for. We are always happy to welcome visitors or to answer queries – we are here to help, please get in touch. We routinely hold residents and families meetings so we can receive your feedback and refine the care we provide in every way. We actively encourage families to engage in our community and take an active part in the care we provide for loved ones. Our community offers: health and wellbeing services including a dedicated on-site GP services, podiatry services, hair salon, and full time activities coordinator in the home to offer person-centred sessions.

Today we took the residents on a whirlwind trip to Spain 🇪🇸
Our armchair travel days bring the experience of visiting another country straight into our home, with a variety of food and drinks to try, today we drank sangria, sampled Spanish cheese and meats and had a good laugh along the way ❤️💛

🇬🇧 Britains Got Talent comes to Riverside Care Complex 🇬🇧

Wow, what an afternoon, today we welcomed the outstanding Finley into the home, Finley appeared on this years Britain got Talent and we can see why he got the thumbs up from Simon Cowell and friends!!

Absolutely brilliant atmosphere enjoyed by everyone, this is going to be talked about amongst the residents and staff for a long time!!

Thank you to the families who came along and enjoyed this experience with their loved ones, and the staff who made this amazing afternoon happen ❤️
