A Summer filled with Music !!!!
We are delighted to announce our ‘Summer Sounds’ music series when we will welcome choirs and musicians to our home throughout the season to entertain our Rathkeevan community. We will launch the programme on this Friday 12th 2.30pm with our first performance by the choir ‘ Something to Sing About’ and their musical director Suzanne Buttimer. Definitely something to sing about and to look forward to.❤️

Such a happy afternoon!!!!
On May 23rd we celebrated our wonderful residents and volunteers as we closed our Rathkeevan arts and crafts exhibition in Clonmel library.It was a huge success with fantastic feedback from the public. We are all so proud of our amazing residents who never ceases to amaze us with their creativity and artistic ability.Sincere thanks to Paul Devane, Debbie Scally and all the library staff for their support over the past few months.

Celebrate with us !!!!!
We will be having a celebration in Clonmel library this afternoon at 3pm to mark the close of our residents exhibition. Pop in and join us as we celebrate their wonderful work. We are so proud of them all.

We had a wonderful afternoon !
Theresa Gaulbacher and Paul Bokslag ran a brilliant art workshop as part of the Applefest Programme. Our residents and volunteers enjoyed the afternoon so much.
We look forward to doing it all again next week when Theresia will be joined by poet Sean O Conner for our second workshop . Sincere thanks to all who took part to make it a very memorable afternoon.

What a busy day !
We are so proud to let you know that our resident's exhibition in Clonmel Library is officially open! A huge thanks to artist Mia Carney for her help today and to our wonderful arts and crafts volunteers for their hard work over the past several months preparing for such a huge event. The exhibition runs until the 23rd of May. Pop in and see the wonderful work of our amazing residents who continue to amaze us every week with their creativity and sense of fun.

Rathkeevan’s activities programme is proud to announce that our wonderful residents will hold and arts and crafts exhibition in Clonmel Library running from May 11th to May 23rd.
We invite you to drop in any day and take a look at what our crafters , artists and knitters have been working over the past few months.
We are so proud of them all !
Their work is supported by our fantastic volunteer group who make it all possible.

CALL Out !!!!

If any of you have old China sets, old tablecloths (cream or white) or cake stands that are in the back of the press not used and you would be happy to donate to our Activities Programme to use for our residents tea parties we would be very appreciative.

Our first outing of the season and what a fantastic outing it was !
We took a trip to the Tipperary Museum in Clonmel where we explored their Memory Box called Hearth and Home. It was so much fun with lots of reminiscing and laughter followed by tea and cake and a singsong to round off the afternoon. Our sincere thanks to Stephen and staff of the museum for helping to set up,to our volunteers Liz, Hylda and Carol for supporting us. Thanks also to family members who joined in the fun and of course a huge thanks to the Clonmel & District Wheelchair Society and Philip Meaney for making the trip possible.
We are off to a great start and looking forward to our next outing already.
