Acknowledgement and Month’s Mind Mass Notice for the Late FRANK BRENNAN, Drummucklagh, Raphoe.

The Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St. Columba’s Church, Drumoghill, on Sunday, 21st June, at 10.00 a.m.

We, the family of the late Frank Brennan, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement, especially those who attended the wake and funeral in such large numbers. We also extend our sincere thanks to those who telephoned, left online condolences, sent Mass cards, and gave floral tributes.

To our extended family, friends, and neighbours who brought food, and to the local businesses who supplied essentials, your generosity will never be forgotten.

We acknowledge the support over the years of the doctors, nurses, and staff of Raphoe Health Centre; Margaret and staff at Raphoe Pharmacy; the Coyle family and staff at Centra, Raphoe; and Meals on Wheels Social Services, St. Johnston.

In the last year of Frank’s life, we are especially grateful to all those who helped care for him with such compassion and kindness. A special word of thanks is extended to all of the carers who provided Frank with such dedicated care, assistance, and friendship. A heartfelt thank you to you all.

Frank’s Funeral Mass was a fitting farewell tribute, and we thank Very Rev. Fr. Martin Cunningham for celebrating it and for his care and support to Frank in recent years through his visits to our home.

We also thank our cousin, Noel McGinley, who added so much to the Mass with his music, accompanied by singer Ruth Corry.

To the Friel family, Raphoe, we extend our thanks for the refreshments provided after the funeral.

To Michael and Caroline of Kelly’s Funeral Directors, we offer our sincere gratitude for your compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail in carrying out your duties.

Finally, we thank the gravediggers for preparing Frank’s final resting place in Drumoghill.

Daddy was a much-loved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he will be sadly missed every day by all the family.

With kindest regards,

Carmel, Majella, Frankie and Maura.
