Tretinoin is the best anti-ageing ingredient we have. It’s also the one people wreck their skin barrier with in the first week.
Here’s how to use it properly, without the red, flaky mess:
🔹 Start on the lowest strength. Your skin isn’t impressed by a higher number.
🔹 Dry skin only. Wait until your face is fully dry before it goes anywhere near it.
🔹 A pea-sized amount. Five little dots across the face is plenty.
🔹 Two to three nights a week to start, building up by one night every three to four weeks.
🔹 Taking it down onto the neck? Three nights a week, no more.
Slow is the entire strategy. Most people who say they “can’t tolerate retinoids” just went too hard, too fast.

There is a reason why you can’t buy tretinoin from Boots!

It’s prescription-only because it’s strong enough to actually change your skin: build collagen, smooth texture, fade sun damage over time. And strong enough to be wrong for some people.

Those serums promising “the power of retinoids”? A cousin, not the same thing. Tretinoin is already active. The shop version your skin has to convert first, and most of it gets lost on the way.

It’s a long game though. Months, not weeks. And the lowest strength does the job, so don’t let anyone talk you into the strongest tube on the shelf.

Not gatekeeping to be awkward. The strong stuff comes with a conversation, because the strong stuff is the stuff that works. Stay tuned for the next reel where I’ll give you some tips and tricks on how to start & stay on Tretinoin successfully !

SkinCeuticals H.A. Intensifier is the serum I keep reaching for. It plumps, it hydrates, and it gives skin that smooth, bouncy, well-rested look that makes everything else sit better. Not essential, but one of those little luxuries that genuinely earns its place on my shelf.

And right now it’s an easy yes. The full-size H.A. Intensifier is €145, and it comes with a free Madeca Time Reverse moisturiser and a 15ml C E Ferulic. That’s €115 saved, and honestly the loveliest way to try three of my *favourites* at once.

Do you look tired every time you catch yourself in the mirror? 😴 You’re sleeping fine, but your under-eyes tell a different story. Dark, hollow, crepey skin under the eyes is one of the most common concerns I see, and no amount of concealer truly fixes it.

Here’s what actually works 👇

✨ Polynucleotides: a regenerative treatment that repairs and rejuvenates the delicate under-eye skin from within. It boosts your own collagen, improves quality and thickness, and reduces that dark, tired look over a course of treatments.

✨ UltraClear laser: resurfaces and tightens crepey under-eye skin, targeting fine lines and texture with minimal downtime (yes, really).

Often the magic is in combining the two: regenerate from within and refine the surface.

You wouldn’t let an electrician fix a leak. Or would you?!

They’re skilled, they’re in your house, they’re standing right next to the pipes. Just not trained in the thing you actually need.

Same goes for taking skin advice from someone who isn’t qualified in it.

I’ll half-agree with the idea that advanced treatments “take years to master.” But the hard part isn’t the machine. Operating a device is the learnable bit. Once you understand the tool and the anatomy, running it well doesn’t take years.

The years go into the medicine. Knowing who to treat and who to turn away. Spotting a risk before it becomes a problem. Knowing what to do when something goes wrong. That’s the part that protects you, and it’s the part you can’t see in a before-and-after.

So yes, it takes years. Just not to press the button. It takes years to know when not to.

Anyone can be handed a machine. Only training tells you when it’s the wrong call.

If you want advice that starts with your skin instead of a sales agenda, my consultations are open. 👇

“Aesthetics is a business, so a clinic won’t send you elsewhere, even if there’s a better treatment for you.”

I saw this doing the rounds, and I want to answer it honestly.

Because half of it is true. Aesthetics *is* a business. Every clinic has bills, rooms and targets, mine included. Pretending otherwise would be a lie.

But here’s what that take misses: a doctor isn’t *only* running a business. We’re bound by medical ethics, a professional code that puts your interests ahead of profit. It isn’t optional, and it isn’t a marketing line.

In practice, that means if a treatment isn’t right for you, I’ll tell you. If you’d be better served somewhere else, I’ll say so. Not as a favour. It’s simply how a doctor is meant to practise.

So yes, always ask who profits from your treatment. But also ask who’s professionally bound to put you first. 🤍

Booking a consultation with a doctor means starting with your skin, your safety and what’s actually right for *you*, even when the answer is “not this.” 👇

Always a joy treating a fellow professional 🤍

from came in for Quantum RF and these before & afters speak for themselves.

Most of our patients keep their treatments private (which I completely respect), so results like this are rare to share.

That’s why we’re looking for a few models happy to showcase their Quantum RF journey at a slightly reduced rate. Comfortable letting your results do the talking? Drop me a DM 👇

We don’t just tell you it works. We show you.

Your Christmas glow isn’t a December job. It’s an autumn one. 🤍
Real collagen takes about 12 weeks to build ..which means the skin you’ll have at your Christmas party is being decided right now.
That’s collagen banking: starting the treatments that switch on your own collagen today, so you peak exactly when the invitations land ,instead of chasing a last-minute glow that never quite arrives.
The menu I’d build from:
• Polynucleotides — deep repair + hydration
• Sunekos & Juläine — skin quality, hydration, glow
• SkinPen — collagen induction for texture & tone
• Morpheus8 — collagen remodelling + tightening
• UltraClear — full resurfacing + collagen reset
Start in September and December is easy. Start in December and you’re glowing by spring.
