Skillsbridge:
This week Skillsbridge staff worked on networking and upskilling as part of the job readiness work.
Lillian attended the B2B Member Spotlight at Ravenport Hotel, Curracloe.
A Networking event that offered practical insight into growth, innovation and adapting to change, delivered by local businesses.
This gave the Lillian the opportunity to reach out to businesses to promote inclusion in the workplace and make important connections that may benefit the people seeking employment opportunities.
While Lillian was out and about networking, Jackie was back at base supporting a training course - workplace safety, supported by Workability and presented by Francis Moran training. This work is part of the job readiness goal for the individuals being supported by Skillsbridge.
If you are a business that wishes to find out more about inclusion within the workplace and how Skillsbridge will support the new employee, but will also support the employer.
This programme has been successful with sourcing a number of paid employment roles for individuals recently referred.
