RIP Babóg..we shared 20 years of undiluted love together,

In 2006 at 8 weeks old Babóg chose me as her human..I had no choice in the matter,

Anyone who met her in the flesh was taken aback by how beautiful she was,

She looked after me for 20 years which is just downright extraordinary,

The colour drained from my world over the last few days..on Monday I had to make the decision to let her go..I brought her home hoping she'd go on her own terms but she wouldn't give in,

She was my best friend..I've never known love like the love that this tiny animal gave me so I cancelled all my work to be with her..I didn't want to be anywhere else than be with her,

I slept on the floor beside her the last 3 nights..so many nights over the 20 years she snuggled up to me to bring me comfort..it felt right to do it,

At 11.15am she quietly left with the help of the wonderful Michelle at The Ark Vets in Tullow & is now in the the compassionate care of John & Anne at Earth 2 Heaven Pet Crematorium,

I feel so lost & bewildered without my best pal & it'll be a struggle for a while to get used to her not being more than a foot away from me when I'm home,

She brought colour & vibrancy to my life,

She was magnificent in every way & I will miss her forever.

INCLUSIVE CHILDREN'S SOUND BATHS

Two sessions on one morning,

Sunday June 14th

Session One 10.30am to 11.15am,

This one is for children who find it difficult to regulate or sit still,
It's a little more active so parents don't need to worry if your child moves around,

It's perfectly ok.

Session Two 12pm to 12.45pm,

This one is for children who are happy to lie down with a blanket etc,

An adult must attend with a child at either session,

Yoga mats,blankets & cushions provided..sofa & chairs also,

Teddies etc are very welcome,

We are always delighted to have the wonderful Ben from in to work with our students, helping them to focus on the little things, the power of sound and proper breathing techniques.

"Oh Nelly how exciting it is that all of our adventures are going to be in a book"..said Ted,

"I know Ted..we'll be famous",giggled Nelly,

"BEN",shouted the two little friends,

"When will we,will we be famous ",

"I can't answer..I can't answer that", laughed Ben,

"I'd hope our book will be ready by the end of June but if it's not then it's OK too,

Sometimes things happen & what we want to happen sometimes doesn't happen right when we'd like it to & that's just the way it can be", said Ben,

"Don't we look great in our boat though..that's from our adventure when Bunclody got flooded on January 27th this year",said Nelly,

"You both look wonderful..we were very lucky to find the best illustrator ever & we'll tell all the people about him soon but now we have to go",said Ben,

And off the three good friends went on another adventure together.

Bàbòg needs some help escaping The Ark Vets in Tullow today!!

Bàbòg had an overnight stay in the Vets last night but won't be ready to come home until about 3pm today,

I'm in Gorey all day with clients so wouldn't make it to Tullow before they close at 6pm,

Family & friends that I could normally call on are either working,sick or on holidays,

You'd just need to pick her up between 3pm & 6pm & drop her off at my house in Bunclody,

I will of course pay petrol costs,

If not she'll have to stay another night & she'd never forgive me & I'd have to sleep with one eye open forever more,
