Expect mindful movement, breath, fresh air, and an optional extended relaxation / nature meditation to soak up the last of the sunshine ☀️🌳

ARE YOU AS SICK OF THE RAIN AS I AM? ☔😂

After what feels like endless grey skies, we’re finally meant to get a little sunshine this weekend ☀️ so I thought… why not make the most of it?

Join us this Sunday for a relaxed little community yoga gathering in People’s Park 💛

We’ll move through a feel-good 45-minute outdoor yoga class, then if you’d like, stay afterwards for a casual BYO picnic, coffee, chats, and some sunshine (hopefully 😄🧺)

Think movement, fresh air, community, and a lovely excuse to get outdoors.

✨ All levels welcome
✨ Please bring your own yoga mat
✨ BYO blanket / something comfy to sit on
✨ Bring your own coffee, snacks, or picnic bits (just for yourself or something small to share if you’d like — no pressure!)

There’s something really special about Limerick city.

It’s a city shaped by strong characters and a community that really shows up for each other. And when you really stop and take it in - the river, the castle, the spaces we walk past every day - it’s actually breathtaking.

I think when you grow up somewhere, it’s easy to take it for granted. It wasn’t until I spent time away that I really saw how much this place has to offer… and how much it shapes the people in it.

That’s a big part of why I feel so passionate about creating space for yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness here. Because when people come together like this, you really see the impact it can have.

To be able to hold a class by the river, in the heart of the city, as part of something like Riverfest felt really meaningful.

So grateful to everyone who showed up, and to the Rivefest team for making it possible ✨

There’s so much here… and I really feel like we’re only getting started 🤍

I’m so excited to be part of Riverfest this year with two outdoor yoga sessions set along the River Shannon in Robert Byrne Park ✨

A chance to move, breathe, and reset in a beautiful riverside setting — the perfect way to close out the weekend.

🧘‍♀️ Session Times:
• 10:00 – 10:30
• 10:45 – 11:15

💸 Cost: €10 per person

This is an all-levels flow, suitable for beginners and those with more experience — expect gentle, energising movement inspired by the rhythm of the river.

Join us for a cosy and creative gathering combining gentle yoga and beginner-friendly crochet in a relaxed and welcoming space.

We’ll begin with a gentle yoga flow and breathwork practice designed to help you arrive, settle into your body, and slow down from the pace of daily life. From there, we’ll move into a relaxed crochet session where you’ll be introduced to the basics of crocheting and begin exploring a simple crochet pattern together.

This session is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone who may already have some crochet experience and would simply enjoy a creative morning in community.

No prior yoga or crochet experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.

Expect a calm, supportive atmosphere where you can learn something new, enjoy the creative process, and share space with others.

What's Provided:

BBY Yogi of the Season 🌸

You know how much I love the seasons… so it felt only right to start celebrating a Yogi each season 🤍

I’ll admit, I hesitated with this. Yoga isn’t about comparison or choosing “the best.” It’s not a competition. But this is simply a way to show appreciation—to honour those who show up for themselves, and to reflect the kind of community we’re building here.

So, our very first Yogi of the Season is… Catherine ✨

Catherine joined the studio around 16 months ago and has shown up consistently, week after week. She came to yoga with aches and pains, and over time has experienced real, meaningful change in her body.

But more than that, she has truly embraced the practice. Quietly, steadily, and with such commitment.

She’s also encouraged her coworkers to join, and now they’re part of this community too—which is just so special.

Catherine is a beautiful example of what yoga can be: showing up as you are, staying with it, and allowing the practice to support you over time.

It’s never easy to choose just one person, because so many of you bring so much to this space. And I’m so grateful for every single one of you who continues to support this little studio. It’s grown so much over the past year and a half, and that’s because of you 🤍

So here’s to Catherine, our Yogi of Spring 🌿

🌿 Spring Equinox Ritual 🌿

As day and night come into balance, we gather to honour the turning of the wheel and the return of the light.

This heart-led Spring Equinox ritual is an invitation to pause, awaken the body after winter, and consciously step into the brighter half of the year with intention.

✨ Cacao ceremony
✨ Guided meditation & gentle somatic movement
✨ Seasonal wreath making ritual
✨ Breathwork for renewal
✨ Restorative sound bath

Together we’ll weave intention into a handmade vine wreath — a symbolic talisman to carry into the growing season ahead.

Two weeks from now, I’m hosting something a little different 🤍

Yoga & Yarn is the first event of its kind at Breathe Better Yoga — and it’s already starting to fill.

I actually began crocheting this winter (back in November) as a cosy hobby to carry me through the darker months. I love picking up something new each winter, and honestly… I was hooked almost immediately.

There’s something so calming about working with yarn and a hook — the repetition, the rhythm, the creativity. I taught myself through YouTube tutorials, one stitch at a time, and before long I realised how empowering it feels to be able to make something with your own hands.

Once you learn the basics, it opens up a whole world of possibility — blankets, flowers, gifts, home pieces… and it’s much simpler than it looks.

So I thought — why not bring it into the studio?
On Sunday 8 March (10am–12pm), we’ll begin with a gentle, beginner-friendly yoga session to help you land, soften, and settle into the morning. From there, we’ll move into step-by-step guidance as you learn to crochet a simple round coaster.

No experience needed.
No flexibility required.

Just a cosy, supportive space to move, create, and celebrate together.
All materials are provided.

💶 €35 (€30 members)

This is our very first Yoga & Yarn gathering, and if it’s well received, I’d love to make it a regular event.
