From Sunday 14 June to Wednesday 17 June, we’ll experience a King Tide, sometimes called a Super Tide, one of the most dramatic tidal moments of the year

During this period, tides in Wicklow are forecast to build to around 2.7 metres, peaking locally at approximately 2.8 metres on Wednesday 17 June. 🌊

These impressive tides will return again with the next lunar cycle in July, offering another chance to witness this natural phenomenon.

At The Boatyard Sauna, there’s no better place to experience the power and beauty of the sea. Settle into the warmth of the sauna, take in the ever-changing coastal views, and enjoy nature at its most dramatic. 🔥🌊

Arklow over the past month!

We’re delighted with how The Boat Yard Arklow has been received over the last four week! And we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited, supported us, spread the word and brought along friends. It’s been great to see The Boat Yard community growing in Arklow.

Opening in Arklow for us has been about bringing The Boat Yard experience to another coastal town and creating a space for people to feel good and enjoy spending time in 🧘

What’s new at The Boat Yard this month? 🔥🌊

We’re trialling extended sauna sessions from 22nd June to 5th July — perfect for those long summer evenings by the sea.

Sessions will run:✨ 8:30pm–9:30pm in Sauna 2✨ 9:00pm–10:00pm in Sauna 1

Extended sessions will be €14, but if you’ve purchased any membership from 1st June, your price stays at €11 per session.

Grab your spot, bring the good vibes, and we’ll see you by the water 🧖‍♀️🌅

We are opening our doors on May 8th! 🧖‍♀️

To celebrate, we’re sharing a little more about how everything works at our new location, from booking your sessions to making the most of your time with us.

When booking through Wunderbook, simply choose your preferred location, Boat Yard Arklow or Boat Yard Wicklow, to find the right schedule for you, use the search feature to find your preferred sauna destination!

And to mark the opening, we’re making it extra special… enjoy complimentary sauna access all day on Friday and Saturday in Arklow🧖‍♀️

If you’re already part of our community, nothing changes, your memberships and bundle packs are seamlessly transferring and can be used across all locations. If you’re new here, there’s never been a better time to jump in!

🔥Guided Sauna Sessions at The Boat Yard Sauna this February 🔥

This February, we’re introducing guided sauna sessions at The Boat Yard Sauna, a new experience inspired by European sauna traditions and designed to deepen your time in the heat.

We’re delighted to introduce Kris, our Sauna Master (and resident Viking), who will be leading these sessions with intention and respect for traditional sauna ritual.
These sessions will bring gentle structure, intentional heat cycles and guided moments of rest, offering something new while preserving the calm, welcoming atmosphere you know and love.

🗓 Session Schedule

Saturday - Sauna 1 • 8:00pm – 8:45pm • 9:00pm – 9:45pm

Sunday - Sauna 2 • 9:30am – 10:15am • 10:30am – 11:45am

With options for both late visitors and early risers, these sessions are part of our ongoing commitment to evolving the experience at The Boat Yard Sauna. 🧖‍♀️ ❤️

✨ Exciting changes are coming to The Boat Yard Sauna from February 1st! ✨

As our community continues to grow, we’re taking time to improve our space and introduce new experiences for you all.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be rolling out new sessions to enhance the sauna experience you love with ongoing improvements throughout 2026 planned!

Here’s what’s new for now:

* Friday Morning Saunas 🌅

* Silent Sauna every weekend from 3:30–4:15pm 🤫

* Guided sauna sessions throughout February – more details coming soon 🧘‍♂️

To support ongoing improvements throughout 2026 and to keep up with rising costs our bundle pack price will increase from €100 to €110 from February 1st.

Thank you for helping us shape a space built on relaxation and community. We can’t wait to for more exciting improvements ahead as the year progresses 🤍
