In loving memory of Jackson Ngari Aranui.

13 January 1954- 27 August 2026.

It's with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad Jackson Ngari Aranui who passed away on the 27th August 2026.

Loved son of the late Karaitiana Aranui and Puketuhi Violet Aranui nee Mitchell.

A much loved husband, brother, dad, koro, whanau member and friend.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral arrangements
Dad is laying at our whare 104 Geddis Ave, Maraenui for the duration

Ra nehu Monday 31st 11am at Geddis Ave.

From there we will take dad to the crematorium to be cremated, hakari will be back at Geddis ave.

It is with great sadness that the whānau and family of Bruce Norman Hutchins shares his unexpected passing in Hastings on Monday, 24 August 2026.

Bruce was a devoted husband to Teresa, cherished father to Emily, Molly, George, Lily, Grace, Katy, Angus and Charlotte and Poppa to Oliver, Henry, Margot, Charlie and Walter. Bruce devoted his time to the service of others.

Bruce is currently resting at 17 France Road, Longlands, Hastings.

A rosary service to be held Thursday, 27 August 2026, 6:00PM at Sacred Heart Parish, 425 Heretaunga Street East.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, 28 August 2026, 1:00PM at

Sister to Regina, Hayley, Kimani, Daniel, Ashlyn, Juan and Terina.
Mama to Kataraina, Tamara, Anaru, Shane (dec.) Meretaiina, Jorjah and Witoria.

Precious whanaunga, tuakana, teina, tongarerewā to us all.

She fought a beautiful, courageous battle, and she is now resting in eternal peace.

We warmly invite whānau and friends to come, pay your respects, and celebrate her life with us before we lovingly release her to Io Matua Kore.

Ali will lay at home on Tuesday 25.08.2026 from 10am. We ask that this day is for family only please.

Wednesday 26.08.2026 we invite Ali's friends over home to pay their respects.

At 12:30pm, Pāpā will leave with his immediate whānau for Hastings Crematorium, where a private whānau service will be held.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear mother, nan, sister, aunty, cousin and freind, Debbie Moira Joe.

Loved daughter of Molly Paxie & Allan Bell. Loving mother of Molly & Waihirere. Adored Nan of Journey, Ainsley, Addison, Narissa, Kairo & Novah-Lee.

Debbie will be laying in the Tim Hutchins Funeral Home Whānau room (access via side gate). The whānau ask that today (Thursday 20/08) be left for the immediate whānau.

Friday 21/08
9am onwards whānau invite family & friends to come and visit mum in our whānau room to pay respects.

Saturday 22/08
A final funeral service will be held Saturday 22 August 11am at The Hastings Crematorium Chapel, Orchard road Hastings.

Followed by kai at The Hastings National Service Club, Market Street Hastings from 1:30pm.

Mum will lay at her home, 505 Miller Street Hastings, from Friday 14th August 9am.

A final funeral service will be held at home on Saturday 15th August 11am followed by burial at Mangaroa Cemetery.

Kia orāna kōutou kātoatoa i te aro'a ma'ata o te Atua

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, Uncle, Koro, Nanny, and Brother-in-law, Kaupa Teauai Teariki, 12 July 1940 – 13 August 2026. Kaupa passed peacefully this morning surrounded by his loved ones.

Kaupa was the husband of the late Christine Teariki, Father to Ben, Karl and Juanita. Grandpa to Micah Dallas, Tangaroa, Te Manea, Zsantalea, Kahukura, Tamatoa, and 6 beautiful mokomoko.

Kaupa was surrounded by his loved ones, not just when he passed through the veil, but throughout his life. He was a well-loved man, always mindful of others and caring in nature.

Although it is a very sad occasion, our family is happy that our dear dad, uncle and grandpa, didn’t suffer long and that he was comfortable when he peacefully passed away.

Our whānau plan - we are very grateful that the Omahu Kaumātua and Kuia who support Uncle Kau's wishes. He sat on the Omahu Marae Paepae for many years supporting whānau. The ope times have been advised by Uncle, to ensure our Paepae leaders get the breaks they need, and that they are also cared for during this time.

Thursday 13 August
Kaupa will come home today where whānau will spend the last night with him at home.

UPDATED:✨He Pānui nā Te Whānau Winitana/Te Whaiti✨

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Piki Rauhina Winitana (nee Te Whaiti).

She has returned to her darling husband, Wiri Winitana and her tamariki Willamina Goldsmith, Barney, Toimairangi, Paul, Jack, David-Lee and David Tahana. All of Heaven is celebrating her arrival.

Grief is a whole lot of love, without its home. And our whānau are sitting in the deepest space of aroha today. We appreciate your patience with us while we navigate our pouri.

We thank you all for bearing with us as we transition Mum back to Taupunga.

We will journey out to the coast where she will again be embraced by Waimārama. We will leave Tim Hutchins Funerals this morning 8:30am and make our journey home, driving past jubilee then out to Waitangi marae briefly before arriving at Taupunga Whare by 10am.
