3 more days to go!

Hi everyone,

The big lantern is at its fine tuning step and it will be mounted at the small stage of 1903 square which is spacious enough in terms of the size.

Therefore, we warmly invite everyone to bring your home made lanterns as well. So we can mount them and display the varieties of our own creativity for Wesak celebrations!

You can contact Nilantha Manjula for more details.

Cheers.

πŸ”¦ SERVICE SPOTLIGHT Β· YOUTH WELLBEING SERVICES

Our Youth Wellbeing Services are for young people aged 12 to 24 experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns. This free, mobile service is available across Nelson Bays and Marlborough, working in partnership with Here's a Thought, Te Whare Mahana, and the Marlborough Public Health Organisation to connect you with care and opportunities in your community.

You’ll meet with a mental health clinician and/or peer support worker to talk about what’s important to you and work together to create a plan that fits your life. The service offers practical techniques, activities, wellbeing-focused groups, and help connecting with community opportunities.

If this feels like something you or someone in your whānau could benefit from, have a chat with your general practice or school counselling service to get a referral.

Building skills, confidence, and wellbeing β€” one step at a time.

Manaaki i te tangata β€” care for the people.

Chur whānau,

Plan for the week, short week as we roll@in to Kings bday weekend us here taking a needed Friday break.

Last week was crazy, 2 days at the Next Gen Futures expo which was a super dope event. Watch this space as some opportunities from that event come into and work out of our space.

Our military themed escape room is in its final planning stages. Staff Sergeant is making the final arrangements before deployment into the area becomes available.

Wednesday cooking class means we open for drop-in at 3:30pm.

Wrap up Thursday soooooo who’s keen on a pool tournament? I’m sure we can conjure up a cool little prize for the winner…
