"Every day, often without fanfare, you make a difference to the lives of our patients and families. Today is about recognising and celebrating you.” – Adjunct A/Prof Tracy Ayre, Group Chief Nurse, SingHealth. ✨

Our nurses not only heal, but also redefine the future of healthcare through their work in innovation, digital health, community health and research — among many other domains. It is an honour to celebrate them at this year’s Nurses’ Day Celebrations, where nurses are treated to performances, yummy food and fun-filled booths.

We also celebrated nursing excellence by recognising recipients of the SingHealth Nursing Awards and the Wee Foundation Nurses' Day Awards and Scholarship.🏆

To all our nurses, thank you for the care, commitment and impact you bring to patients and families every day. Happy Nurses' Day! 🎉🧡

For Yoke Ping, the kindness shown to her late mother inspired her to become a palliative care nurse. Today, the roles have reversed. The Changi General Hospital palliative care nurse is helping patients and families find comfort, dignity and compassion when they need it most.

Congratulations to our three SingHealth nurses – Anh from KK Women's and Children's Hospital Jordan from Singapore General Hospital and Yoke Ping from Changi General Hospital (CGH) – who have each been awarded the President's Award for Nurses 2026 (PAN). PAN is Singapore's highest nursing accolade. 🧡

The people we care for often leave a lasting mark on us. For Anh and Jordan, it was the courage, resilience and kindness of their patients that have shaped the nurses they are today.
