How about those lady Falcons! Way to bring it home ladies! Fun fact, first time EVER in the state of VA has a school won a State Championship in Girls Basketball, Girls Volleyball and Girls Softball! Way to show up and make this community proud yet again!

The Abingdon Lady Falcons are VHSL Class 3 State Champions! 🏆

🏆Abingdon capped off a PERFECT season with a 7-3 victory over Broadway to claim ANOTHER STATE TITLE!

🥎The Falcons wasted no time offensively as Kendyll Cole drove in a run with a first-inning double before B. King delivered a two-run single to give Abingdon an early advantage. Scout Summitt added an RBI sacrifice fly, while King finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the championship win.

💙In the circle, Ada Gillenwater went the distance, allowing just three runs over seven innings to secure the victory.

Lauren Baker, Cole, and King each collected two hits as the Lady Falcons brought the state championship trophy back to Southwest Virginia! 🏆🏆🏆
