Can we be honest about something for a minute? 💙
Right now a lot of people are scared. Jobs feel less stable than they did a year ago. Groceries cost more. Savings aren't stretching the way they used to. And the uncertainty of not knowing what comes next is its own kind of exhausting.
And most people are carrying all of that quietly. Because everyone around them is carrying it too, and it starts to feel like there's no space to actually say "I'm not okay."
Here's what that kind of sustained stress does if it doesn't have anywhere to go:
💠 It disrupts your sleep even when you're exhausted
💠 It makes you short with the people you love most
💠 It creates a background hum of dread that makes it hard to be present
💠 It starts to feel like anxiety is just who you are now- not something happening to you
Because when we normalize chronic stress, we stop treating it as something that needs attention. We just absorb it. And keep going.
Financial Stress can be traumatic but often passed over.
You don't have to wait until you're in crisis to deserve support. Financial stress is real stress. Economic anxiety is real anxiety. And therapy is one of the most concrete things you can do to keep it from quietly taking over everything else.
If you've been putting it off because it feels like one more thing- we see that. And we're here when you're ready. 🤍
