Some battles don't end when the deployment is over.

For many veterans, the memories, stress, anxiety, hypervigilance, and effects of trauma can follow them long after they return home. While others may see strength on the outside, many veterans continue to fight battles that few people ever see.

At Sandhills Center for Hope, we believe those who served our country deserve access to compassionate, knowledgeable care.

Executive Director Alex Jines is trained in working with veterans experiencing PTSD and trauma-related challenges. She understands the unique experiences many veterans face and is credentialed to work with veterans through VA Community Care programs, helping connect them with the support they have earned through their service.

Seeking help is not surrender. It is another act of courage.

If you are a veteran struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, or the challenges of transitioning back to civilian life, know that you do not have to carry that burden alone.

Mental health doesn't always look like what people think it does.

Sometimes it's getting out of bed and already feeling exhausted.

The first phase of fundraising for Sandhills Center for Hope will help us hire engineers and professionals to begin designing our future inpatient treatment campus in Alliance. These initial funds will also help us navigate city ordinances, zoning, infrastructure needs, and building regulations so we can responsibly move this vision forward.
