State Street Optics will be closed today due to a scheduled water shutoff related to the watermain replacement project connected to the construction on State Street and Superior.

At this time, we expect today to be the only day water service will be interrupted. If anything changes or the closure needs to be extended, we will communicate updates as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these downtown improvements are being completed. Thank you! 💙

🚧 Construction Update from State Street Optics 🚧

As many of you may have seen, the City of Alma will soon begin additional construction work in the downtown area, including the intersection of State Street & Superior Street.

Here’s what our patients should know:
👓 State Street Optics will remain OPEN and accessible during construction.
🚶 Patients will still be able to access the office by sidewalk and local traffic routes.
🅿️ Parking directly in front of the office will remain unavailable, so please allow yourself a little extra time before your appointment.

⚠️ There is a possibility the office may need to close for a day or two during certain phases of the project. If your appointment is impacted in any way, our team will personally contact you as soon as possible to help reschedule or provide updates.
We know construction can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience and support while the city works to improve our downtown infrastructure. ❤️

State Street (the road NOT the practice) is currently closed for road work, which means parking directly in front of State Street Optics is not available for the next couple of months.

✅ Good news: We are OPEN and accessible!
You can still reach our office by using the sidewalks.

🅿️ Please plan to park on nearby streets or alternative areas and allow a little extra time for your visit.

We appreciate your patience while the city works to improve the road!
