To live in a country with a narcissistic, perpetrating, racist, oppressive, dehumanizing, fascist, sociopathic, sickening so called "President" is a hard life to live.

Some have privelege to leave ~ I root myself in this country's soil to fight and advocate with whatever time I have left to do so. I advocate for my ancestors, my community, my clients, and my children🙏🏽

I don't have a "passion" for Decolonizing Therapy and Anti-Oppressive Therapy. It is about SURVIVAL. Passion can only be accessed with enough safety and freedom to allow for its expansive energy.

Elements of grief weave their way through our lives and our bodies as we navigate experiences of loss— anticipated, sudden, cultural, ancestral, societal, or existential.

In this training, participants will explore the embodiment of grief and its impact on the nervous system, and learn methods of recognizing and nurturing embodied resourcing as a way of enduring grief with courage and curiosity.

This workshop will also address traumatic themes that emerge in loss, including grief-related anger, loss of safety, and loss of land for Indigenous communities, and the need to decolonize grief by honoring collective and communal healing.
