Summer is basically a parade of sugary drinks — lemonade, sports drinks, juice pouches, slushies, you name it. 🍹
Here's something worth knowing: it's not just WHAT kids drink, it's HOW they drink it.
Sipping a sugary drink slowly over an hour actually does more damage than drinking it quickly in one sitting. Why? Because the longer sugar stays in contact with enamel, the more time bacteria have to create acids.
Simple swap that helps: offer water between every sugary drink and encourage kids to finish sweet drinks in one sitting rather than carrying them around all day.
Small habit. Big difference.
