•To provide a safe and comfortable death
•Self-determined life closure for the patient
•Effective grieving for the family and loved ones of the patient

Hospice care is enhanced palliative care specifically for individuals near the end of life whose goals are for

care focused on comfort rather than cure. Our Vision: Hospice of Kimes seeks to be considered the premier provider of end of life care in Athens County and the surrounding areas. Evidence of success will include: patient and family satisfaction with all services provided, clinical outcomes that surpass professional standards, above average success with surveys, and positive financial outcomes.
