✈️ After an unforgettable week of magical adventures around the world, our Teacher Appreciation Week travelers made their way back home to the USA! 🦄❤️

Before departing for the journey home, our amazing teachers made one final stop at the Friday Coffee & Donuts Woot Woot Wagon to get properly fueled for takeoff! ☕🍩 (Donuts donated by the Gillespie Family) Woot Woot! Upon arrival back home, they were greeted with special welcome home bags filled with souvenirs from their travels to remember all the magical moments from the week. ✨🧳

The celebration continued with an all-American lunch of cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips, special USA-themed water bottles, and a cake from DVISD while teachers shared laughs and memories from their weeklong adventure. 🌭🍔

One of the highlights of the day was the extensive hat bar where teachers got to design and create their very own custom hats — each one as unique and magical as the teachers themselves! 👒🎨

Just like our unicorn mascot, our teachers bring joy, wonder, creativity, and magic everywhere they go. We LOVED every single minute of this travel experience and celebrating the incredible educators who make our school such a special place for our students and families. ✈️ Our Teacher Appreciation Week adventure continued with a magical trip to Italy! 🍝🍕

Our amazing teachers were welcomed with a “Date with a Book” and adorable one-of-a-kind pizza earrings before enjoying a delicious Italian-inspired lunch featuring chicken fettuccini alfredo, bread (because you can’t visit Italy without bread!), and special refreshing drinks to keep everyone hydrated while “traveling” through the countryside.✨

The fun didn’t stop there! Teachers put their skills to the test in a hilarious Leaning Tower of Pizza competition filled with laughter, teamwork, and lots of magical memories. 🍕🏆

Just like our unicorn mascot, our teachers make every day extraordinary with their creativity, kindness, and dedication. They bring magic into every classroom, and we are so thankful to celebrate the incredible educators who make our school such a special place to learn and grow. 🦄💖

✨📚 A little magic, a lot of pages, and BIG celebrations! 📚✨

At DVISD CDC South, we believe every book is a tiny doorway to imagination. Through the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program, our young readers stack up stories 100 books at a time, tracking their journeys on reading logs like treasure maps. For every 100 books, they earn a free book plus a small gift, and their photo climbs further on our display chart as they reach each milestone.

We remind families that just one book a day from birth can carry a child to 1000 books shortly after their 3rd birthday… proof that small, daily magic adds up to something extraordinary. ✨

All year long, we cheer on our readers to keep turning pages, chasing adventures, and building bright futures… one story at a time.

🌺✈️ Our Teacher Appreciation Week journey continues, and this time our magical crew has landed in beautiful Hawaii! 🌴🌊

Our incredible teachers were welcomed with leis and refreshing tropical drinks (non-alcoholic, of course!) as they stepped into a relaxing island escape. They enjoyed a delicious lunch of Hawaiian roll sandwiches, chips, and fresh fruit salad, followed by a fun and creative activity—designing their own beautiful flower crowns! 🌸✨

Just like our unicorn mascot, our teachers bring joy, creativity, and a touch of magic wherever they go. Their dedication fills our school with warmth and wonder, and we are so grateful to celebrate them in such a special way.

We are loving this magical journey of appreciation and can’t wait for the next destination! 🦄💖
