Meet Harrell: Rose De La Fuente serves as a Family Care Coordinator in Austin, where her lifelong connection to the community and passion for helping others shape the way she supports every family.
Born and raised in South Austin, Rose graduated from Crockett High School and began her studies at St. Edward’s University before stepping in to help her family during a difficult time. That experience strengthened her commitment to family and service, values that continue to guide her today.
Rose joined Harrell Funeral Home in 2023, bringing years of experience in both funeral service and administrative roles across multiple industries. Her background includes working closely with families, assisting with service planning, and coordinating every detail from clergy and musicians to floral arrangements. She has also supported operations behind the scenes, including human resources, accounts, and vendor coordination.
For Rose, this work is deeply personal. She believes serving families during one of life’s most difficult moments requires compassion, understanding, and a genuine desire to help. What stays with her most are the connections she builds with families and the lasting impact of simply being there when it matters most.
