Introducing a brand new Itineris event: Trivia Night! Join us Tuesday, November 17th, from 6:30 to 9 for video-and tabletop-gaming-themed trivia at Baltimore’s first-ever board game bar, No Land Beyond! Everyone is welcome!

Is Dungeons & Dragons your favorite hobby? Or have you spent an entire weekend locked in on a new video game? Here's another thing to celebrate during National Disability Employment Awareness Month: Itineris client Chen is celebrating his 1st anniversary at FutureMakers as a Production Associate!

Last year, Chen accepted a position at the Baltimore-based small business, assembling classroom kits that teach young learners STEM principles in an exciting, hands-on experience. Since then, Chen has assembled hundreds of kits for classrooms around the US. Please congratulate Chen on his continued hard work!

Join Itineris CEO Lauren Eaton and Employment Services Manager Shakira Maye this week for Autism Society of Maryland 's FREE webinar: Autism and Employment!

Together, we will explore practical strategies for career planning, accessing DORS resources, workplace accommodations, ADA compliance, self-advocacy, and building resilience and independence. Lauren, Shakira, and other employment specialists will be sharing their expertise and perspectives to help you navigate the path to meaningful employment, as well as encourage employers to build inclusive workplaces.

The 2026 Maryland Association of Community Services (MACS) CEO & Leadership conference was a success! Itineris leadership not only attended but also hosted two presentations regarding innovation and intersectionality.

CEO Lauren Eaton and Director of Clinical Services Marley Swisher introduced attendees to the concept that autistic adults can learn critical skills in an engaging, accessible, and low-risk environment using Virtual Reality headsets. Participants can practice communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills in an immersive environment that is mobile, tracks data each session, and complements traditional approaches.

Lauren also led a presentation on the intersectionality of autism and LGBTQIA+ identities, with help from Itineris client Cate! Cate and Lauren explained how research now shows something that autistic people have been saying for years: autism and gender-diverse identities frequently intersect. Participants heard about experiences at the intersection of disability and identity, gaining knowledge of how to enact positive change and create environments that affirm and support the whole person.
