They Were More Than the Circumstances of Their Deaths.

Donielle Mack and Izick Aminartey were only 19 years old. They were young people with stories, relationships, hopes and futures known most intimately by the people who loved them. Their lives should be remembered for more than the violence that ended them.

Roberta’s House extends its deepest condolences to their families, friends and all those grieving their deaths following the August 10 double shooting in Essex.

Behind every report of violence is a circle of people whose lives have changed forever. Through our Homicide Survivors Advocacy Program, Roberta’s House provides compassionate support and resources to families navigating the shock, grief and trauma that follow homicide.

We say their names: Donielle Mack and Izick Aminartey.

We remember the lives lost. We stand beside the families who grieve. And we remain committed to helping our communities heal.

Sellers was shot and killed in the 700 block of Lyndhurst Street, not too far from Edmondson Village in Southwest, Baltimore.
