Another amazing visit from the Outback Ray Crew! 🦘🐍🦎

Today, we were joined by Outback Sky & Leslie, with Outback Sky putting on an impressive and phenomenal show for our residents!

Thank you both for spending the day with us, introducing us to your incredible animal friends, and helping us celebrate National Wildlife Day with so much enthusiasm, education, and fun. 🐢🦜🌿

We had an amazing time learning, laughing, and getting up close with some truly fascinating animals.

Thank you for another unforgettable visit, we can’t wait until next time! 💚

It’s National Wildlife Day! 🦊🦉🦝 Today we celebrate the incredible animals that share our world and the people who work to protect, rescue, and rehabilitate them.

Consider finding a local wildlife rehabilitation or rescue facility to support with a donation. Even a small contribution can help provide food, medical care, shelter, and supplies for animals in need.

🏰✨ We’re planning a resident-centered Renaissance Faire for our nursing home! 👑🧚‍♀️⚔️

For those of you who may not know exactly what a Renaissance Faire is, here’s a little info! 💫

A Renaissance Faire is an interactive celebration inspired by the Renaissance and medieval periods. It is designed to make guests feel like they have stepped into another time. ⏳🏰

People often dress as royalty, knights, villagers, fairies, pirates, merchants, and other fantasy-inspired characters while enjoying themed music, games, crafts, performances, storytelling, food, and activities. 👸🛡️🧙‍♀️🎶

Many Renaissance Faires also include lots of fantasy and imagination, so you may see everything from kings and queens to dragons, elves, and magical characters. 🐉🧚‍♂️✨

A big part of the fun is that people do not just attend the event. They help bring the world to life by dressing up, interacting with others, and joining in on the theme. 💕🏰

For our residents, we want to create that same feeling of stepping into another world for an afternoon. Something colorful, exciting, nostalgic, and a little magical. ✨👑🌸

We can’t wait to share this experience with you, and we look forward to expanding it in the future to include more of our community! 💜🏰

Our date is set for Friday September 25th from 2pm-4pm.

Since it is a resident centered event we are looking for volunteers at this time specifically as well as cosplayers. If you would like to volunteer to run a booth, dress up in costume, or simply help bring the magic to life, send us a PM here or comment below! 🧚‍♀️⚔️👑✨

Today is a great day to celebrate a legend… actually, make that TWO. 👑🎉

While we’ll be celebrating Michael Jackson’s birthday here at the facility, we’ll also be celebrating our very own superstar, our Administrator, Kelly! 💖

She may not moonwalk through the halls, but she definitely keeps this place moving. 😂 Kelly is compassionate, dedicated, caring, and always willing to step in when needed.

So today we’re sending birthday wishes to the King of Pop AND the Queen of Post Acute. 🎤✨

Happy Birthday, Kelly! We’re hoping your birthday is nothing short of a Thriller!
