My husband and I have been using Source products successfully for decades. Here are a few highlights, some of which I’ve mentioned over the phone to your terrific staff over the years:
SOURCE micronutrients service to customers is fabulous, friendly, and efficient. Over many years we’ve ordered by phone with complete satisfaction at the “traditional feel” of the interaction.
As assistant trainer for a 60-horse stable in the early 1970’s I grew concerned about the condition of some our horses. Feeding hand mixed alfalfa-grain pelleted ration plus grass hay, we had too many colic cases, rough coats, and gut-output issues. I read about SOURCE. We tried it and became sold on the idea that feed quality was our problem. The well-known feed manufacturer was not doing their job well! Soon the horses’ problems disappeared.
Fast-forward to 1982 when as General Manager of a new equestrian center I was part of the team caring for 115 horses. Some were simply boarders; many were show horses; 104 were in stalls and the rest were school horses living in outdoor lots. We made SOURCE available for a minimal charge each month for the stalled horses, as well as feeding it to the lesson horses. Our feed program was customized but mostly made up of quality custom-mixed sweet feed and grass hay. Even so, we began to see only rare colics; no hyperactivity brought on by the feed supplement; increased appetite but less need to feed more grain; improved gut-activity levels; plus improved hoof, hair coat, and mane/tail growth. It is not possible for me to be more grateful to SOURCE!
Moving to the early 1990’s when Colloidal Minerals were the craze in the healthfood stores: I have always had allergy problems and some related health concerns, so the conversation about micronutrients hit home. However the bottles of Colloidal Minerals said the liquid must be kept refrigerated. Red flag. Then I read that a gathering of scientists/paleontologists/paleogeologists (not sure which) toasted at their banquet with glasses of liquid glacial meltwater. Big red flag! I was not interested in consuming ancient swamp water from under glaciers! So I called SOURCE to ask if humans could utilize their horse’s SOURCE! The reply was that so many horse people had asked that question…that SOURCE became available in capsules as Micro-max. Needless to say, my husband and I started on Micro-max and have stayed ever since. Now that my husband and I are 82 and 79 respectively, our health is overall better than our age might suggest. Our nails, hair, and hide grow well too. :)
What my husband (at retirement he now justifiably brags of his 57 years as a successful farrier) noticed after his first 30 days on Micro-max was that his all-over body aches and pains were gone! If he was trampled by a horse or mashed against the stall, of course he hurt for a while. But the daily aches and pains endured by farriers were gone. Driving a heated or air-conditioned truck to open-air hot or cold stables; sleeping sometimes in motel beds; being shoer for horse shows; bending over for a living to shoe up to 10 horses (literally) in a day; coming home to work at the forge to be ready for the next day…no wonder so many farriers back in the day drank their misery away.
Finally, the aging owner of a shoe repair shop had gained a lot of weight. My husband and he were friends and chatting one day. The cobbler said that so many hours standing at the workbench had caused him nonstop pain. His doses of ibuprofen had to be taken with food, so the medication/food frequency brought on weight gain! We gave the cobbler his first 30 days of Micro-max, then didn’t see him for a while. When we did see him, the excess weight was fast melting away! He didn’t have the nonstop all-over pain any more.
