Today is International Self-Care Day and we wanted to remind you that preventive care is part of self-care, too. We believe everyone deserves access to the care and support they need to stay well.

Ticks may be tiny, but knowing what to look for can make a big difference.

Learn the early signs of Lyme disease, check yourself and your pets after spending time outdoors, and remove ticks carefully with fine-tipped tweezers or a tick spoon. If you develop a rash, fever, fatigue, joint pain or other symptoms after a tick bite, contact your health care provider.
