Homeopathy is one of the most misunderstood approaches to holistic wellness.
Many people assume it's simply another form of herbal medicine, but the two are based on very different philosophies.
Homeopathy was developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the late 1700s and is built on the principle of "like cures like." In homeopathy, remedies are prepared through a specialized process of repeated dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking). The goal is to stimulate the body's own healing response rather than directly suppress symptoms.
Today, homeopathy is used as a complementary approach to wellness in many countries around the world. In places like Europe and India, it has been integrated into healthcare systems and continues to be used by millions of people alongside conventional medical care.
Whether homeopathy is something you're simply curious about or considering as part of your wellness journey, understanding what it is and how it differs from other natural therapies, is the first step.
